If Broccoli is such a massive fan of Craig she should start another franchise with him(that will bomb) and leave James Bond to someone who would like to make real Bond movies. Unfortunately, she went insane with this reboot.

The franchise is too far gone to be saved.

Broccoli's obsession with Cr-egg has destroyed the essence and the magic of the franchise. It will be 20 years between Brosnan and a potentially proper Bond at this rate, in 2022 :!: DONE :!: :martini:

I saw Batman v Superman last night. While I didn't think it was as bad as many of the reviews (which, after awhile, seemed like giving the movie the baby seal treatment), there was one thing I totally missed concerning a character death. The long URL gives it away, so here's a shortened URL>

that's a little messed up. Wasn't smallvill that killed the same character to reveal a young cousin with the same name?

Main thing I don't like aside from the dark tone is Afleck and his bat costume, might as well add the bat-nipples back. Besides with his chin fully exposed it obvious who batman is.

I think the idea for the story works better with bale's batman, also don't like adding doomsday he best left for a stand alone story later on.
It's a cheap tactic Hollywood has of jumping to the most exciting bad guy instead of following the story.

JAMES BOND chiefs are making fans wait two years for the next movie, in a bid to convince DANIEL CRAIG to return.

The break is designed to give Daniel time to wrap up a 20-episode US TV series, Purity, and take on a stint in Othello on Broadway – with the hope he’ll then be persuaded to play 007 for a fifth time.

But Bond producer BARBARA BROCCOLI will be keeping busy, too.

An insider said: “Studio execs really want Daniel as he’s a safe Bond and does well at the box office.

“The next Bond is a special event because it’s the 25th movie.
This post almost belongs in the "I spy thread of repetitive rumors"! with all the clichés it contains!

Waiting two years until the next film! How is that any different than what EON has been doing since 1974?! In fact that's one of the shortest breaks since 2002!

They really want to bring Craig back after his "Slash my wrists" interview? The wrist slashing is what the media has clinged to, however the far more telling bit is when he continued: "If I came back it would only be for the money". The bit about slashing his wrist can be written off as some tongue in cheek hyperbole, made just after exhausting himself making the film but to go on and say his only motivation to return would be only for money goes much deeper. It may have been a Freudian slip, he didn't mean to say out loud to a reporter to have broadcast across the globe. but he did mean it.

Babzy will be keeping busy! How? Doing her nails! The name of her new production company is laughable, "Bad and Beautiful" stroke your ego much Babzy? Maybe, just maybe she'll devote some time to a few crap "passion projects" and leave Bond to the professionals for awhile.

Funny how EON is so concerned about "the safe choice" now, Brosnan was the "safe" box office choice, but was cast aside for a man who was anything but!

This one's special because it's the 25th? Shouldn't they all be special, it's all you do! On second though, we've seen what we get when you believe "this one's special" (DAD, SF, SP)

completely agree as always DB.

What she has her own production company? Wonder if she did that because her precious Craig might leave and she can't stand to make bond movies without him. Except she couldn't make a bond movie with him either.

Broccoli wants Cr-egg to be the longest tenured Bond in years eclipsing Moore's 12 year run. If Cr-egg does another and it is released in 2019, he will be Bond for 13 years and she wants it that way. It's now a perverted sickness on her part.

I just got back from the cinema where I saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (hey, I'm half-Greek, I have to, it's the law). The lobby was absolutely packed with people waiting to see Batman v Superman.

Ouch! Batman superman is being mercilessly beaten on the internet. Not a lot of love out there for it, I'm curious how it plays out. They only need 100 million people to see it world wide to break a billion, it also got iMax and3d maybe?

Definitely 3D. The cinema I went to last night had a trailer for the 3D experience, advertising 5 films including Bats v Supes, Civil War, Independence Day 2 and a couple of others that I can't remember right now.

"Insiders" may consider the next movie a special event. Fans refer to the movie as Bond 25 simply because it has been titled yet. But does anyone think being the 25th movie automatically gives the film a special status. It's like they keep hoping the 50th anniversary publicity will generate itself all over again.

Craig is bored with the role and his salary would eat into a big chunk of the budget. It doesn't make any sense to get him back. The hoopla surrounding a new Bond would make 25 more of an event than an aged Daniel Craig sleepwalking through what would presumably be his farewell film.

I really hope Craig leaves this time. It's bad enough he made just as much movies as Brosnan and two more than Dalton. But then the question is who will be hired this time. And if they are going to continue this reboot "realistic" approach or turn back to the Bond formula.I say that's unlikely with Barbara and co. in charge.
