DAD might do it inflated for 2008 (so might MR & TND).
Nope, at least according to BOM's inflation adjuster for 2008.
BOM's inflation adjuster is wrong. It needs to be judged according to the number of tickets sold. Ticket prices do not keep pace with inflation.

DAD =27 million tickets sold USA (2006 inflation =$184m)
MR =28 million tickets sold USA
TND =27 million tickets sold USA

I thought it would do $52 million. It did $67.5 million. Let us see how it is by weekend three.

Not too bad considering originally Quark had competition for opening weekend.
No competition with several million in free tickets had the effect Sony wanted.

Bond DVDs and Blu-rays released in October have Quark free ticket vouchers (good for up to $10.50). All one need do is peel them off, no purchase necessary.

I have 6 that I doubt I'll be using

Can you send a couple to me and the missus? Or have they expired already?

They won't expire 'til New Years Eve.
I was going to trade them at another forum.... Honestly they aren't worth much to me.

Check to see if there any theaters accepting them near you first. The only ones accepting them near me are in neighborhoods I wouldn't go to at night if the National Guard got my back.

My local multiplex accepts them. Do you need my snail mail address, or is there a code you can PM me with?

What no National Guard needed

It's all electronic. All that is required is to enter a 14 digit code at their web site. No need for anything more intrusive than a PM

Anything we could trade for? Doesn't have to much as I said I have no use for them.

I think I've got some music download codes somewhere that I won in one of these "under the cap" promotions (Smirnoff Ice, I think it was). I'll see if I can find them.

That's Cool!

Would it be OK to exchange them Monday or late Sunday. I'd hate to add to Quark's weekend BO

I'm not planning to see it for another couple of weeks anyway, because December 6th is my nameday (and if you don't know what a nameday is, you're obviously not Greek).

Well, it's be St. Aristotle for my fictional namesake. Not sure when that is, but (psst) Kristatos isn't my real name.

Lighten up Razer. I'm just messing with y'all.

I'm disappointed too in the film itself, but I still predicted this wouldn't be a failure at the BO. Everyone else here thought it would, and you were all taking total pleasure and delight at every single bad review that came out, saying Craig was finished, the franchise will crumble and fall with his second outing, CR was a one-off success purely because of curiosity, nothing more, etc.

If there hadn't been such arrogant, bold, nasty statements galore on here in the first place, I probably wouldn't feel the need to rub it in peoples noses a bit with what is actually happening now at the BO.

There are many on MI6 not happy with the new film, yet I doubt many of them are hoping and praying that the film tanks at the BO like you lot are. I know I don't - why? Becuase I'm a Bond fan, and I want the Bond franchise to continue.

I hated DAD with a passion, yet never wanted it to fail at the BO, because I wanted Bond to continue. I honestly don't understand the mentality here sometimes..... :?
