Ian Fleming's 100th birthday!

Post by Dr. No »

Ok so this isn't really news :D I'm posting this here after posting it in the Ian Fleming section so nobody misses it.

May 28, 1908 – August 12, 1964

I hate it when people talk about dead celebrities birthdays :( Elvis lived so long and no more, Queen Elizabeth lives so long and no more. I don't see a point to endlessly eulogizing sombody.
Ian Fleming lived to be 56 years old, far too young to die.

May be I'm a bit of a hypocrite but here it goes
On the 100th anniversary of Ian Fleming's birth I say we take a moment to remember the man, say cheers  and thanks for all of the enjoyment and adventure he brought to out lives. I know that in his life time he could never have envisioned the impact his writing and imagination would have on teh world.

:type: :martini: :cig: :gun: :db5: :britflag: :frwl: :007:

Cheers Ian!

I went to the Fleming exhibition today in London. I recommend anyone who is a massive Fleming fan to go. Most of the material on display I have seen in books as photos, but it was still nice to see the real thing up close.

Superb day out!!!!
