The Legendary Daniel Craig

Post by James »

I've been away from the fun packed world of Daniel Craig lately but today I dipped a toe tentatively back in and yes, the PR bulls**t campaign is gearing up again. He's man of the year in GQ. For what exactly? Invasion? Variety continue the spin with an article that acts as if he's Marlon Brando. Am I missing something here?

That's a wonderful photo of the the great one on GQ's cover. The links to the news are below the GQ cover. I thought I'd beat our resident Craigites to it so I could put my own Craigist spin on the news first.

I'm almost glad England didn't qualify because we got rid of that awful man!

I spoke to GQ magazine and Daniel Craig was awarded Man of the Year for his many interesting beard and waistcoat combinations.
Bring back Bond!

Daniel Craig parts the Red Sea!

Steve McClaren walked away with one million pounds for being a dipstick. Nice work if you can get it.

Daniel Craig was on Johnathan Ross last night and got well and truly nailed by JR.

Ross said to Craig that he was extremely handsome in an old craggy type of way and then posted a picture of Sid James.
“I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that and scaring the s--- out of me,” Bond Hardman Daniel Craig.

It's not just me making that comparison then. What was Craig's reaction?

He laughed and took it on the chin like the good sport he is (which will no doubt infuriate some on here...)

You failed to mention that JR said he thought Craig was brilliant too in the role, that he loved the film, and is a big Craig fan.....

Actually Kris he looked uncomfortable and did a kind of nervous laugh.

Ah Skywalker, I thought we were past that tabloid-out-of-context spin in this site. :P

I think he looks uncomfortable with interviews full stop. He is definitely not as relaxed as Brozza was being interviewed.

That was the impression I got from the interview you posted elsewhere. Well, he'd better get used to it, it goes with the territory, I'm afraid (though he has a right to be ticked off at papparazi snapping him sitting on the loo - even movie stars have some right to privacy).

Timothy Dalton had that problem too, just look at the press conference videos with photographers surrounding him, he didn't really know how to handle the situation and looked uncomfortable, feeling very flattered but still uncomfortable. Even with the ladies he seemed like a shy boy with a hint of "oh gosh" expression on his face.
