Exactly, it was too violent for his films. He always felt uneasy with scenes such as Loque pushed off the cliff. He doesn't mind Connery and Craig's vicious Bonds but he knows he can't pull them off, hence why he reinvented the role.Robert Stirling wrote:Good old Sir Roger - always true gentleman.
