Prince William and Kate Middleton took a spin in style after the Royal Wedding today. The two of them delighted fans outside Buckingham Palace by driving around in a pristine Aston Martin DB5, a car made famous by the 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger.
The Aston Martin DB5 was released in 1963, and in case you're curious the "DB" is in honor of David Brown, who was the head of the company from 1947 to 1972. With a 4.0 liter all-aluminum engine, the DB5 is capable of speeds up to 145 mph, but Prince William and his new bride rolled the beautiful automobile around the square around five to 10 mph.
