Midsomer Murders & 007

My own topic (probably) on something only I am interested in.


Midsomers new DCI Barnaby,Neil Dudgeon, has a long association with the world of 007, if only in passing. I first saw him in The Mrs. Bradley Mysteries starring Diana Rigg as Mrs Bradly his employer.
His first staring role as the lead in Midsomer had Samantha Bond as guest star. By the way Samantha was doing her very best Judi Dench, emasculating her former husband in front of as many people as possible. They must have filmed it before the poorly thought out and timed PSA, how could they have known?
Last weeks show Dark Secretes (Episode 2, Series 14) had DS Jones chatting up a young woman I thought would be perfect for a new Moneypenny. The eppisode also featured a one time 'M' Edward Fox, who is also very popular here for his strength of character. ( 'So ugly! He is utterly wrong for Bond. The opposite of what Fleming intended, and I knew Fleming ')


This is the only picture I can find on-line young woman I though would be great as a new Moneypenny, with a new Bond of course.

I thought they might bring her back as someone for Jones to have an interest in, however can not find her name or any other photo

I saw Midsomer Murders (I'm a fan ) and think the Lady in question is called Emily Joice, who was also in My Hero a BBC1 Comedy about a superhero living in england. It was great to see Edward Fox again, if only they'd get him as M.

I can find on-line young woman I though would be great as a new Moneypenny, with a new Bond of course.

I thought they might bring her back as someone for Jones to have an interest in, however can not find her name or any other photo

Our Man Blofeld has another crush on a redhead actress. Nice stalker photo BTW. Before you go off to "friend" all the redheads on Facebook try IMDB. They will have all the cast names.

Found her finally. She is Laura Rogers and she was in Doctor Who Christmas Carol. I could not find her name earlier becuase there is another British actress with the same name, when I put search in on IMDB it look like another cast member from this episode.

I present to you the lady who should be Moneypenny. (When the reboot is rebooted.)

Alright. I'll admit it. I would wear a tuxedo for her.
