I know this sounds pretty stupid, but I thought I would bring this up since one of the Pro-Craigs from imdb said that he would rather want Seagal to play Bond than Pierce.

Well he did break Sean Connery's wrist during the filming of NSNA. Though I don't think that gets one knighted.
Judging from his nicknames calling himself "Sir" is not beyond him.

Seagal is starting to look more and more like the guy him did a MADTV impersonation of him
how can anyone take Seagal seriously or have the gall to suggest his name in the same breath as with bond?
The guy was bad cliche action star in the early 80s and went down hill fast. Chuck Noris and Jackie Chan have more acting skill than Seagal.
I did like Under Siege but most of his work is a bad B moive spy stuff. Secret CIA killer who just wants to retire... In a world where the bag guys will not leave him alone
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Look as if he gave up on the Steven Seagal fame train and is attempting to corner the Tom Baker lookalike market.

One of those, we all agree type things?
Very disquieting. Since it is you saying that, my first reaction is to defend Steven. Something along the lines of 'Seagal's edgy, wolfish common touch should be fine in the "Casino Royale" remake.'

That's a bit petty, innit?
