Would you like to see a non-Eon Bond

I thought the ending of Casino Royale (the movie)was far too over the top. I thought Bond was going to defuse a few nuclear weapons and get attacked by men with spear guns when he was underwater.

I'd also like to see Bond get the Sherlock treatment. It's really the only way one actor could adapt the books from beginning to end. I think we've reached a point where that would not only be possible (in terms of television), but also quite successful.

Who could do the Jeremy Brett role?

A young unknown actor who looks like James Bond. Which is exactly what we were supposed to get but didn't with Casino Royale.
