This is insane. The woman who destroyed the once remarkable franchise with her incompetence and desire for critics approval is now a vice president?

never heard of that before no idea if it's a real thing or honorary.

But why would you honor somebody who barely makes a movie every leap year but only if they feel like it, does nothing else to promote the uk film industry. Star Wars did more for the uk than bond except I guess the uk people have a measure of pride because it a movie about a British spy.

I thought it might dip below $50 in actual sales.

Weird thing about BvS is it's another movie said to have real cost closer to $410 million producers claim to have magically gotten down to $250 million. We should watch the numbers closely to see how they are reviewed. If they don't break even with less than a billion than neither can SP.

One thing I know is the are said to have spent $28 million alone to promote the movie, George Lucas spent $57 million for just the release to theaters of red tails, got to be close to $100 million for prints and advertising going the USA only for BvS .

Warner's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice took in $3.19 million on Monday to lead the daily box office for an eleventh consecutive day. The blockbuster 3D superhero film starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill continues to be extremely front-loaded, as the film was down 77 percent from Sunday and down a very sharp 79 percent from last Monday.........Marvel is starting their CA:Civil War buildup now which will end any S v B inertia for good.

Can you provide an executive summary for those of us who don't particularly want to sit through 10 minutes of video?

Doing what those Disco haters did to the Disco records by destroying them in a public event.

FBF wants the world to join in a shredding of Cr-egg's work as Bond.

I think that's going to happen anyway as soon as he leaves.

If he leaves now the people I've talked to seem ready to piss in his bond, some of it because of the wrist slashing comments and some because he looks like he doesn't want to be there to them now.

Best to destroy DC's Bonds at any Star Wars event while in a Star Wars costume.

Melissa McCarthy's The Boss dethroned Batman v Superman from the top spot on Friday as the former took in an estimated $8.082 million opening day. The aformentioned BvS added $6.045 million yesterday, down another sharp 60 percent from last Friday. With $279.3 million in the domestic bank through 15 days of release, the superhero flick is pacing 10 percent behind Iron Man 3 and just 6 percent ahead of Deadpool. BoxOffice projects a third weekend of $21.3 million.

I'm no particular fan of McCarthy's based on what little I've seen of her work (trailers, mostly), but she does seem to have a following.

Competition in international markets this weekend includes the continued run of Warner Bros’ Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which grossed an estimated $7.6M on Friday in 67 offshore hubs. That reps a 60% drop from the sophomore Friday last week. The overseas total is now $463.5M.
