Don't support James Bond anymore. Babs' not going anywhere. Idris, Damian, or any other non-traditional type can have the role for all she wants.

Watching Johnny English. The head of MI7 said how "guns, fast car and chauvinism are on their way out" and how "MI7's current choice of weapon is dialogue." It's like Barbara wrote those lines.

This is a interesting story
http://www.daily-times.com/story/life/o ... /79696672/

A few things about this the government has been making huge land grabs here for a very long time it has a lot of people up set.

The Indian tribes that supposedly want joint supervision do not get along usually. Probably none of them will be happy with how the Feds limit the use of traditional sites.
I believe it's mostly Navajo land now, strangely traditional Navajo land in Colorado was given to the Utes. I'm not sure the if ute land was given to the Navajo.

I'm sure there is a better way without involving the Feds.

Btw valley of the gods is in this area.
Also the archaeology argument is a false flag, manly because looting is very common everywhere here and it's usually done by natives primarily because there is nothing else to make money on.
The others thing is archeologist got this strange bug late 90s about not digging and preserving the site untouched until better technology comes along.. I think they wait for Star Trek technology, before they dare disturb the dust they try to beam it out.

Just moved the recent crop of Trump posts to the Trump thread, where they belong. Sorry if that messes up anyone's links, but at least I warned people this time. I should have done it a lot sooner, but I only just noticed that they were in the General Discussion thread! I guess the cold I'm recovering from diminished my powers of observation. At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Another Bond story from my cruise:We were talking to one of our fellow passengers and she said that she lived in Nassau for several years during the 60's and saw Sean Connery during downtime while Dr. No was being filmed!(He was chewing a piece of gum-very unglamorous!)

He has a history of doing unglamorous things, my favourite author Michael Crichton was a good friends with Sean, he tells many story of how down to earth Sir Sean is. Including eating rice with his fingers.

Aidan Turner 'in talks to play James Bond as top 007 producers fly Poldark star to LA'

Image

Poldark's Aidan Turner has reportedly had talks with producers about becoming the new James Bond.

The 32-year-old actor became a TV heartthrob following his shirtless portrayal of Ross Poldark in the BBC TV series last year and has emerged as one of the favourites to become 007 when Daniel Craig decides to hang up his tuxedo and now he has flown to Los Angeles for a meeting about him.

Aidan has 'held preliminary talks with Bond producers' and being in LA will give him a further chance to discuss the role, according to a source for The Sun.

Aidan's Poldark producer Karen Thrussell also set tongues wagging about his future as the new spy when she picked up his Breakthrough Award on his behalf at the Broadcasting Press Guild awards in London last week.

She teased his absence for the ceremony: "I am sure it is nothing to do with James Bond, but we will see..."

The tentpole will hit theaters in summer 2019.

Indiana Jones is swinging back into theaters.

Steven Spielberg will direct Harrison Ford in the untitled fifth installment in the action-adventure franchise, which will open July 19, 2019, Disney announced Tuesday.

“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Disney chairman Alan Horn. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”

Franchise veterans Kathleen Kennedy — who now is president of Lucasfilms, home of the series — and Frank Marshall will produce. The married duo are intimately involved with Indiana Jones; Kennedy worked on the original Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) as an associate to Spielberg, while Marshall was the producer. Both were involved with the next three films, all of which Spielberg directed.

I wouldn't be so happy so soon. Even if they cast someone appropriate this time I don't think they will give up 5 stars reviews of pretentious critics. Which means they won't give up crappy "artsy" stuff. Besides,I think it's too hard for Barbara to make classic Bond movie that's why she copies anything from other popular movies and throws a bit of quasi seriousness and drama for pretentious critics.

What would really make me happy is if he brought his former Being Human writer Toby Whithouse with him. Whithouse has form in the spy genre, he created a highly acclaimed spy series for the BBC called The Game, and I think he'd get the balance of drama and humour exactly right.

I recently watched "The Game" and completely loved it. That whole Cold War vibe. :britflag: :spy:

I hope so? I hope not, especially the fact that Babs will still be producer once DC leaves. As long as that b1tch is around, save your breath for Kingsman or M:Is. Also, Aidan needs to stay away from her regime.

FBF, the fact this is being revealed now might indicate a new direction for the franchise away from the Cr-egg era of rotten Neanderthalic Bond films. It's been "14" years since we had a real Bond film :!: :!: :!: Aidan would be a fine choice, don't you agree?

Yes but you're missing the point that Babs has to go. However, she won't go down that easily so consider that anybody or anything can be Bond now. I'm done with the series and so should you!!! We can honor and treasure the first 40 years of the series, but to have the traditional actor return while the b1tch is still producer? F*CK NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
