Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I just read some older posts and read how Broccoli said how the whole anti-Craig started some 12-year old in Unites States? Firs of all why is the nation important? Second-how could someone be so stupid?? Is she serious?? People who were against Craig are the ones who grew up with Bond no matter if it was Connery,Moore or Brosnan. Is she freaking retarted or something? Is she telling herself how only 12 year olds(that actually meant immature kids) were against it... she should need to stop by this site only-who is here 12?

I don't like that word. My dad (now retired) was a nurse specialising in work with people with severe learning disabilities and mental health problems, so I had it drummed into me from a very early age that it was wrong to use words like retard and loony as insults. Though I may not have always been very good about following his warnings.ml94 wrote:Veronica wrote:I just read some older posts and read how Broccoli said how the whole anti-Craig started some 12-year old in Unites States? Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I apologise. It was a wrong word to use. She is just really really stupid. That's more appopriate I think. Retarted is an expression for example people who are suffering from Down syndrome and they are really sweet and good-natured.It was a completely wrong term to use. I am sorry. But in real life people actually use that expression when they want to express someone's stupidity and then we just don't think about what that really means.Kristatos wrote:I don't like that word. I had the same type of upbringing for different reasons. We were not supposed to say certain words about others and we always did at some point.Kristatos wrote:I don't like that word. Either Sheamus or Wade Barrett (both of whom not in the list) should do since they're from the British Isles.bjmdds wrote:FBF, check this out: http://www.legendsofthering.com/LOTR15.html Any future Bond actor talent here in your opinion?

You know what's just the worst thing? That peope(some, not all) actually tolerate and like this new direction. The arguments are that it's more serious-no it's not,its just more boring and realistic-yeah,waking through the wall, playing home alone bla bla bla... seriously I actually read the comment how it's better because it's more Bourne like...I just might lost a faith in humanity...well,I actually lost when I saw a poll where Craig came second in the terms of "the hottest Bond"-honestly,who voted? Barbara Broccoli for about 1000 times?? And don't get me started on the poll where Craig came second in the terms of "the best Bond"...the world has gone down the hill...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
And the media is in favor of Craig as well... they twisted Honor's words and titled the article "Honor Blackman thinks Craig is better than Connery"..she actually said quite the opposite-how Craig is not Bond...when is this media crap gonna stop?

Maud Adams (Maud Solveig Christina Wikström) told my group she does NOT like Cr-egg at all Veronica............Maud Adams is the only featured Bond Girl to appear in three James Bond films. She starred alongside Roger Moore in The Man With The Golden Gun and Octopussy. But her part in A View To A Kill is quite a minor one. In an interview with John Glen on MKKBB.com there is a big clue as to where Maud Adams actually is in A View To A Kill.
Q. Tell me about the Maud Adams cameo in ‘A View to a Kill’.
A. We were shooting at Fisherman’s Wharf. Maud — who is a very good friend of ours — decided to come and visit us on the set with her boyfriend. I said to Maud “Come on, why don’t you become a crowd extra?” So she and her boyfriend walked through in the background, and by doing that she became the only woman to appear in three James Bond movies. After reviewing the A View To A Kill Region One DVD it’s thought that we’ve actually located Maud Adams. Check Chapter 19 “Fisherman’s Warf”, the scene between David Yip (Chuck Lee) and Roger Moore (James Bond). Maud Adams can be seen in a black pants suit, tan jacket, and black sunglasses holding hands with a plaid shirts mustached man. She slides in on the right side of the screen at exactly 1:00:28 when Chuck Lee says, “During World War II…” and she slides off the left side of the screen at 1:00:36 when James Bond asks, “With any success?”.

Didn't Martine Beswick do three Bonds as well, one of the dancers in the DN credits, gipsy girl in FRWL, and as Paula Caplan in TB.

A former Miss Jamaica, Martine was selected as one of Maurice Binder’s dancing girls in the opening credits of Dr No. This lead to her being cast the following year in From Russia With Love as one of the gypsy fighters, Zora. She then returned, along with director Terence Young, two years later as Paula Caplan in Thunderball, ensuring her an enduring place in Bond fan’s hearts.

I never knew Maud was in AVTAK either. You always learn things daily in life. I never realized how egocentric and moronic Broccoli was until Cr-egg came along.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Debuts With Record $34 Million in China and Closes in on $1 Billion----“Avengers: Age of Ultron” powered to nearly $34 million in its debut in China Wednesday, and Disney’s Marvel superhero sequel is bearing down on $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
It was the best opening day ever for a Marvel-Disney film in China, beating the two-day opening of “The Avengers” in 2012 and nearly doubling the debut of “Iron Man 3” in 2013. It’s also the highest non-weekend opening ever in China — Universal’s “Fast and Furious 7” did $61.3 million on a Saturday earlier this year — and was dominating, accounting for 95 percent of the total box office. IMAX theaters brought in $3.9 million alone. This brings the worldwide total for “Age of Ultron” to $932 million and its international total to $607 million since April 22. It opened domestically on May 1 and has taken in over $324 million. Several sites in China have reported that audiences have been complaining about poorly translated subtitles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, in one scene with Captain America saying, “I’m home,” the subtitles read, “I’m good.” In another moment, Iron Man says, “We may not make it out of this.” But that is translated to “Run fast if someone tries to kill you.”
