And now there are insults to Di Caprio in the new leaks. This gets more hilarious by the minute.Alessandra wrote:LOL I saw that BJ and now it's officially out that they HAVE taken the Bond script, too. Idiotic Barbara Broccoli thinks people fall for her BS saying "we remind everyone that it's copyrighted material." Listen, you raw piece of inedible green vegetable... IT IS ALL OUT ALREADY! GIVE IT UP, THE ENTIRE PLOT has been spoiled on BIG news sites and YOU have been exposed as an incompetent BRAT who refuses to back down to cut expenses for a scene out of a CAPRICE because if you use THREE carriages instead of FOUR for a train scene IT WON'T CHANGE A d**n THING EXCEPT YOU WILL SPEND LESS MONEY, IDIOT! And if you set a scene at night with no significant setting in London instead of Rome or wherever it was meant to be, IT WON'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE EITHER, other than in terms of budget!

Hang on. I'm about to start a chapter. Let's see if that gets it back on course.Kristatos wrote:I was thinking the exact same thing. Would anybody have any objection to junking the entire thread and starting again from scratch? With such a detailed synopsis, we could even divvy it up into chapters in advance and give people the opportunity to call first dibs on any particular sequences they want to parody.Blowfeld wrote: With each new revolation I keep going back to square one with the chapter in the unofficial novelisation. With all we know now (if accurate and it does appear to fit their narrative) we could do a better job putting official script shame.
As much as I dislike the reboot, EON is seems has forgotten almost anything they knew about 007. If I were reading the same story point about another movies series I would think how tiresome and droll.

There is NO mention of MGW anywhere relating to this film. I think Broccoli took over total control from her dolt half brother, who they bring out of hibernation for cameos to appease him.

Redemption, but the MI:6 thinkers will never admit they were wrong. Can someone bring me upto date with this hacking of Sony..........thanks?
1/ Why was Sony targeted in the first place, and by who..........was it by disgruntled ex Sony employees?
2/ Is it really true....that Bond 24 is going to be some weepy soap opera.........where has this been stated in writing?
3/ Is MGW still alive and well, and involved with the Bond franchise?
4/ How come the script isn't finished for the film, despite a long time gap from 'Skyfall'.
5/ Why is Sony run by people who have no idea of money control, or creative film talent?
EA
ps: When i go to see a Bond film, i want to come out of the cinema feeling good...................not depressed!

Full agreement ea bond is so depressingly dull these days it might have to compete with eastenders.English Agent wrote:Can someone bring me upto date with this hacking of Sony..........thanks?

God why do they think we need another depressing, feel crap movie?, you'd think after the massive success of marvels the avengers along with recent guardians of the galaxy that that alone would show that's what we want more stuff that makes us excited, brings us on a great thrill ride, gets us invested in the characters but not too over the top, making the characters fun, likeable and people you could care about without hammering it home every d**n minute, I felt more sorry and could relate to rocket more (minus him being tested on in a lab) than todays moppy boring dull bond who's about as exciting as jack bauer is a smily happy guy who never loses anything.
Blofelt a woman, the austin powers 3 plot, what next did blofelt also get saved by a french woman named annie/chloe (forgot name) with webbed feet by forming a cocoon around him, was bond to much of a square for this blofelt, will he also have a mini me and when will Michael Caine make his appearance along with bond singing daddy wasn't there.
So not only have they parodied ap2 with an ejector seat in skyfall (as the q in this isn't a gadget master, bond sure as hell didn't fit it, for a bond with no gadgets it sure seems to have a few thrown in, even casino royale had one, so this is supposed to be a reboot of bond with no more gadgets yet a gadget is used to save bonds life and for the hell of it an ejector seat is fitted in bonds car he won in casino royale...because...a wizard did it?.
The only redeemable thing about skyfall period was Fiennes as a male m and that scene at the end with bond crying, if that was Me as m I would've sacked him there and then for being not fit for the job, he gets his boss killed, q is now an imbecile hacker who got duped by silva, silva is a joke.
Man from uncle sounds like it should be fun (remember that word bond fun nope course not), will this start with bond and blofelt at school with bond being the slightly cooler version and blofelt being the reject who also has a friend called number 2.
Ale: Thanks, I'm still awaiting a reply from them, I really hope I have a contract (paid) now I'm nervous, but you would think if you're helping with a cartoon series and an animated film you would get paid (I hope).

Even some people over at MI6 are complaining about these films having too much emotional baggage, and that's really something.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that Die Another Day looks more and more like a serious spy thriller, but in light of the reboot, I am growing more accepting of the Brosnan era. Sure, there the times when I attacked the Brosnan era over one thing or another, but the films still looked and felt like Bond films.

Yeah, I kind of exaggerated a bit there. But if any of this information being leaked does turn out to be true, Die Another Day just went up another level for me. In fact, my appreciation for all the pre-Craig Bonds will level up.Daltonite Toothpaste wrote:The Saint 007 wrote:While I don't care too much for Die Another Day, I've warmed up to it a little more since the reboot. I just saw the Gawker story on my PC. I couldn't really see the script extracts on my phone. A couple of thoughts:
1) I wish we'd done that Photoshop of Craig with his trousers down.
2) Can anyone imagine Craig pulling off the line "I'm Mickey Mouse, asshole, who are you? " It's not a great line anyway, but I suppose a good enough comedian could make it funny. I could almost hear the CLUNK as I imagined Craig saying it, however.

No matter how many times I read that line, I keep hearing in my mind, Bruce Willis as John McClane saying it. I just cant imagine Craigs monotone voice saying such a line, and I hope I will never have to hear it.Kristatos wrote:2) Can anyone imagine Craig pulling off the line "I'm Mickey Mouse, asshole, who are you? 1/ Why was Sony targeted in the first place, and by who..........was it by disgruntled ex Sony employees?
It is supposedly by North Korea angry about a Sony movie, a comedy about assassinating their dear leader.
IS it really a internet attack by Korea, some say yes from the grammar and language one of the Malware bot. But it could be almost anyone copying cating them. BTW the head of security for Sony was fired in the last year so I'd wonder what he know about this.
2/ Is it really true....that Bond 24 is going to be some weepy soap opera.........where has this been stated in writing? Yes. From everything I've read.
3/ Is MGW still alive and well, and involved with the Bond franchise? I didn't watch the press for SP, so didnt see if he was there. All the recent news only talk about his sister as producer.
4/ How come the script isn't finished for the film, despite a long time gap from 'Skyfall'.
Because EON is the same as when they messed up the scripts for, LTK, TND,TWINE, DAD,and QOS.
5/ Why is Sony run by people who have no idea of money control, or creative film talent?
Ummm. Is a trick question?
I'd guess the same reason EON is run by children who F it up but some how still make enough money to be successful.
EA
ps: When i go to see a Bond film, i want to come out of the cinema feeling good...................not depressed!
From whats out there SP seems like a depressing birt miniseries.
Maybe the hackers have done EON a favor if production stops now they can create a new story with their spare scripts, maybe still go for next year. I can guarantee you the SP script will be surfacing again and again, it's too good not too. For movie fans this kind of thing is what we live for.
Eon needs to learn the lesson from expendables 3.

I agree Bruce could do it. I can picture him in die hard saying it. Craig? that would be 100 takes all wrong with the movie finally using a very bad adlib line.Kristatos wrote:Yeah, Bruce could pull it off (just).Daltonite Toothpaste wrote:

A bunch of Bond fansites have piously declared that they will not publish anything related to the Sony hack. Perhaps we can make something of that ("The INDEPENDENT Bond website - because we're not in Sony/EON's pocket, we have no obligation to protect them").

To be fair though, those sites might not want to be shut down by Sony (or whatever action Sony might take), that I can understand.
