What do you think of Bilbo's continuing adventure?
Did you get the Godzilla trailer beforehand?
Yep. My impression is that this is the Big-G we could have had back in the 90s.

I will never understand the hate the 90's Godzilla movie got, I didnt think it was bad. Although the constant repeats of the japanese guy saing "Guudzilla" over and over again annoyed me.

I liked it better than the first film. I particularly liked the rendition of Lake Town. I can't see how they're going to stretch what's left of the book out to a whole movie, though. I'd imagine part 3 is going to contain a lot of stuff that isn't in the book.

Aside from the last part of the original novel, Hobbit 3 will use the Appendix from ROTK as a source.

I missed the chance to see it this weekend. Seems as if people like this on better but the Bo is not as impressive opening weekend. I sort of want to watch the extended cut of the first movie

I still don't get why DC's Bond is more popular than Middle Earth in terms of box office returns. Despite 3D and IMAX, AUJ grossed less than SF both worldwide and even here in the US.

Saw 47 Ronin with my stepdad for christmas. Good movie but who ever thought the idea of a Caucasian man in feudal Japan would be believable should have a smack in the face.

Hobbit 2 felt more like LOTR than the previous movie. Slightly ticked they are stretching it our another movie.

Who is the she elf? I know I've seen her before

Evangeline Lilly. I think she is a MAW (model, actress, whatever).

from real steel and lost too. I knew she was familiar,

I think they created her role to add romance to the movie. I saw a great list of book to movie comparison I'll post it if I find it again

We saw Frozen one of the more interesting of the Disney Princess movies teaches young girls a very valuable lesson, never trust a boy.......EVER!
I like the definition of an act of true love flys in the face of the usual Disney formula. We liked it a lot and for those with young girls I'd say this is a more positive message the usual from the house of mouse.

I watched Planet of the Vampires - I see where the makers of Alien got their ideas. And Expendables 2 - "by the powers invested in me I now pronounce you man and knife". :D

I watched Ransom with Mel Gibson on TV the other night and was rather surprised to see that Richard Maibaum had a story credit. I had forgotten that it was a remake of an older film, which I presume was co-written by Maibaum.

Django Unchained. All I shall say is that if you like Tarantino, you'll like this, and if you don't, you won't.
