Definitely! I've been reading Pierce's comments on the film, and he obviously sees it as his return to Bond in all but name.

Exactly it is. And I can't wait to see that film, it will be extremely awesome, and I wish it could come out this year instead of next year.

Elba will be too old for Bond consideration by Broccoli in 10 years so it should be a moot point. Between Garfield pushing for a homosexual Spiderman and this talk of considering Elba as Bond, tradition has flown the coup it appears, and the result is defacing and defaming ICONIC literary characters for politically correct indulgences and that is wrong :!: Bond is caucasian. Spiderman dates women. Period :!: End of story. I saw the coming attractions of Pacific Rim during Superman and it looked like a fun film to watch as opposed to the garbage Matt Damon is coming out with next month.

It's the closest thing to a classic Bond returning except that he is not James Bond. And if anything, NM will be a definite alternative to his 5th Bond film.

But, then again, BJ, which movie apart from the Ocean trilogy that Matt Damon starred in, wasn't a garbage? Bourne, this sci-fi thing with emoism, those boring family-dramas such as the Zoo one, the inaccurate Mr. Ripley. Oh, and he's the reason the Hollywood has turned into "holleh-hoodah". He introduced that "dark and gritty" emoism into the mass media and infected the world with a virus. A few resisted and a the rest got infected with it. In this case, I resisted it. Even the so-called "indomitable" Mr. Bond (thanks to that evil queen of numbers: Babs) has been infected since 2006. It's done for. And I tell ya, Bourne 5 will not happen. Or if it does, it'll result in a mass flop.

Damon is nothing to me. I don't like him one iota. The Bourne films were more of anti-USA government films as was QOS with both making the USA government look bad. I think that is the main reason he did them. November Man will be Pierce's finest work since being fired from Bond. He will most likely give it his all.

He wanted to do a dark and gritty Bond even before he did GE but never got the chance.

OK so that poster I saw for Bond 24 must have been a fanmade thing-I thought 2014 seemed too soon.Still, even though it's going to be out in 2015, don't you think there's already been some talk about casting?Hell, we've already had a couple of rumors about possibilities.

There are always rumors. The latest one I heard is that the next film will be based on Devil May Care. As always, I won't believe it until it is officially confirmed.

The series began with Sean Connery, and according to a myriad of fans, also ended with him. Through the decades, we’ve seen such talents as George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig all portray Agent 007. The “shaken, not stirred” martini-sipping secret agent has also seen several character recastings, although Dame Judi Dench played the same character through the Pierce Brosnan films and the Daniel Craig reboot, confusingly.

We should call Bond 24 WHO THE HELL CARES if that's the non-Fleming storyline that further skews off Fleming's origin :!: :yay:

If they're so desperate for source material that they're using Devil May Care, then yeah, absolutely. And you can see the shout outs to other films and franchises)the villain in a box stuff from Spyfail is obviously meant evoke Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins in Silence Of The Lambs. And not in a good way, either.
