Who owns IMBD? Owner is Amazon.com. You would think they would get it right?
You would only think that if you'd never read it.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also previously told EW that they hoped to continue working with Downey, whose charismatic interpretation of Tony Stark helped launch its multi-billion-dollar film franchise. But he also indicated that Iron Man was bigger than any one actor.
“I believe there will be a fourth Iron Man film and a fifth and a sixth and a 10th and a 20th,” the producer said. “I see no reason why Tony Stark can’t be as evergreen as James Bond. Or Batman for that matter. Or Spider-Man. I think Iron Man is a character just like that.” Feige declined any further comment Thursday. It is starting to look like Iron Man 3, which ended on a fairly conclusive note, won’t be the last we see of Tony Stark, but it might be the last time he stands alone.

I joked about her agent, but it's more likely to be an obsessed fan. Because anyone can edit IMDb, it tends to act as a magnet for those with a tenuous grip on reality. It's like Wikipedia without the peer review process.

No sure if anyone here watches Hannibal, but last night's season finale was freaking epic. Mads Mikkelse is SO good as Hannibal Lecter.

Mads Mikkelsen is literally great actor, but they wasted him in Casino Royale. I've seen his other works, he's a psychopath if he wants to, he's a madman if he wants to, and he's awesome as young Hannibal. So, I agree with you. I wish he makes an awesome actioner one day.

Basically he doesn't know what he's reviewing. Daulton. Yeah. I know that no Bond actor had that last name. And for the record, Timothy Dalton was an awesome Bond. So, anyone can review anything poorly these days. So that is it. Best advice, don't listen to a critic. Just watch the movie and judge it yourself.

MOS dropped off a whopping 71% from the previous Friday :!: World War Z did a lot better than was forecasted on Boxofficemojo. They thought MOS and WWZ would battle for second place. It won't be close. I will see MOS in Imax 3-D tonight.

Doesn't surprise me. Most people I know who have seen it say they found it disappointing.

bjmdds wrote:Sweeney, I am not a huge Superman fan now, after having experienced Reeve's first 2 films with a positive reaction, and his last 2 films as utter trash. Routh was a total waste in 2006. You cannot be serious stating it's worse that Clooney's Batman film? I cannot watch one scintilla of a second of that garbage.
Believe it or not, this film makes Superman Returns look great.

Reeve will always be Superman, and Brando will always be Jor-El. This new film is a bad joke. And yes, it's on par with Batman & Robin.

I came home with a headache and had to take 2 tablets. The second half is so noisy, its like watching a computer game. Just tons of meaningless CGI. How many times can we see buildings explode, how many times can Superman and Zod thrown each other into skyscrapers. The second half of the movie really is a mess. And the character of Superman is dark, broody, and has lots of issues. If you hated what Craig has done with Bond, and what Nolan did with Batman, then you will really, REALLY hate this.
Well I just witnessed TMOS with two other friends in IMAX 3-D. The vote was unanimous......we all HATED the film :!: The Sweeney is correct :!: First of all, the 3-D was a rip off because it was added AFTER the film was done. I could barely tell the difference taking the 3-D glasses off vs. wearing them at times. Secondly, the plot was dreadful and the editing with the flashbacks seemed out of place. I cannot believe nobody recognized Clark Kent as Superman when it was shown. The non stop over the top CGI was tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to bare. Lois Lane knew way too much about Superman's origin. She lacked chemistry with Superman. Costner's role giving moronic advice to his son was way off reality and Costner's eventual fate was not realistic in what should have happened. Jor-el was poorly portrayed by a tired and boring Gladiator Crowe. Zod was a lunatic rockum sockum robot. What happened to Metropolis was tedious and ridiculous and at the end it was somehow magically restored quickly. I would rank it above Batman and Robin and Ang Lee's Hulk, but not by much. Cavill seemed amateurish acting as Superman, had minimal stage presence, but was passable and better than Routh. The theatre was 2/3 EMPTY at 6:30pm :!: It's heading south, and quickly. I would NEVER pay to see this twice. Superman II was a classic. This was a classic waste of an attempt to mimic 1980's film.

Tomorrow Never Dies with Halle Berry instead of Richards would be an improvement.
