Wow, I'm honored. Thank you. Wish I could inform Babs how much I hate her and her poor opinions she's making ever since 1998. And Cr-egg, sigh, just quit the role, will ya?bjmdds wrote:Jack.......you are the lucky winner who started page 1000You win an all expenses paid dinner with Cr-egg and Broccoli

True. I honestly think if they try this it will implode Hollywood.kater23 wrote:As far as the paying more for blockbusters...I don't see all that many, so it won't affect me. I kinda hope dollar movie theaters make a comeback, as a "F you" to big chains like AMC, etc.
Online movies is going take over the bluray and DVD but the studios are still trying to fugue out how to sell it look at Netflix and vudu and amazon $2 to $5 digital copies sell, $24 digital copy's don't.
Hollywood needs to get behind movie pass (unlimited movies for $30 a month) if they want to keep going, I know some who live in an area where they can use it and the never worry about when to go to the movies.

Wow, we're at a thousand pages! Mark the day-June 14th 2013 .I don't think any of the other Bond boards has ever had a thread that got to a thousand pages-and if they were they weren't as interesting!

I can really see him as Supes even before MOS was filmed. Routh looks to be a cheap imitation of Reeve.James wrote:What did you think of Cavill as Superman?FormerBondFan wrote:I just saw MOS, and I thought it was just as good as BB.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
THIS website is the ONLY one on the internet with such an accomplishment. We were ridiculed by the pro- Cr-eggsters, yet we proved our longevity, whereas MI6 imploded and CommanderBond.net has nowhere near the 368,000 VIEWS to go along with the 1000+ pages of content. THIS is, by far, THE most looked at and responded to thread on any Bond website, bar nonekater23 wrote:Wow, we're at a thousand pages! Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Routh was a former soap opera hack on One Life To Live on ABC and was fired. You don't go from that to Superman, and be successful at it. Cavill and Routh are light years apart as actors. PBS just had their Nightly Business Report on tv. They did a segment on TMOS. They estimate $75-100 million for the 3 day weekend. We will see what the Sunday numbers turn out to be but this seems to be a far better film than SR ever was. I am surprised Cavill's sweetheart here has not returned in 6 months to critique her hero's film. I hope it destroys Sk-Awfull's opening weekend's box office here. The question will be what kind of legs it maintains the following weekends. Will it Hulk out or Iron Man it? We shall see.FormerBondFan wrote:I can really see him as Supes even before MOS was filmed. Did you like TMOS more or less than Star Trek 1 and 2?

BJ:It says a lot that the fanboy sites have imploded/become shadows of their former selves and DCINB is still going strong.

Even Bond and Beyond is rebranding..though I think that was more of a hangout for the former MI6 posters than actualy talk about the Bond films. There will be some Bond content, but mostly other stuff.

I can't decide, but if I had to choose, it's Zod.bjmdds wrote:Zod or Khan? Which was the better villain?FormerBondFan wrote:I think MOS is probably the same level as ID.bjmdds wrote:Did you like TMOS more or less than Star Trek 1 and 2?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Zod? I guess Khan was a let down for you and Zod a surprising entity. If you liked Zod better than Khan, this film should outdo Into Darkness for you have the pulse of the populace in your beliefs. "Warners and Legendary need “Man of Steel” to overperform internationally, with its $225 million production budget and estimated $150 million worldwide marketing spend." We now confirm how much is really spent on marketing blockbuster films.
