I wouldn't even know what to do with $105 million. I'd buy a house, a car, a s**t-hot home cinema system and a new computer, but what's left after that?bjmdds wrote:http://social.entertainment.msn.com/mov ... e-avengers Poor souls.

You could spend £10 million on a bumper Wessex Regionalist European Parliament/General Election campaign?Kristatos wrote:I wouldn't even know what to do with $105 million. I've been trying to talk my parents into going on a holiday cruise this year-a bit before or after Christmas. We'd have to be in town on December 20th-my niece's birthday. God forbid we missed her birthday!
Love Is All You Need opens here this weekend but only at one movie theater. I love Pierce, but..no.

The actors may be doing fine with this new Gatsby movie, but nothing will ever come close to Robert Redford's version.

$1 billion in ticket sales is becoming common place now. Iron Man 3 has just proven that. Sky-Awful did that amount. If Cavill's TMOS opens in the USA under $100 million on opening weekend, deem it a flop. If it does not command the same respect Downey's film got, then forget about Superman films for a long time.

I doubt it will not make a bundle Wal-mart is selling ticket for early showing in my town, I'd bet the first weekend will get a bump from walm-art.bjmdds wrote:$1 billion in ticket sales is becoming common place now. What get to me is Superman return was the best reviewed film of 2006 it was the fans who turned on it, I betting this one has a better story and actor as Superman, a lot on his shoulders DC wants a Marvel kind of franchise including a justice league movies.

1920s rich SOB. I tried to read the book before and couldn't get past the first two chapters.
I couldn't care less about it, might be compelling story set almost 100 years ago to me it wasn't worth getting in to. I've never seen an ad for any of the movie versions that made me want to watch it. Anyway having "great" in the title might be the major put off.

That's fair enough. I'm not that interested either. I'm just relieved to hear that you're at least aware of the novel.Omega wrote: I know who wrote it, vaguely what its about.
