Does anybody remember those James Bond films they used to make with a six foot two guy with black hair who is suave and sophisticated? Are there any plans to make any more of those films?

Welcome G7. We agree with your assessment. I am waiting to see the end line of the credits of Craig's last Bond film to say...."James Bond will return".....and mean it!

Unfortunate but true, unless....Bond 22 does not deliver. MGW and Babs are hinging their bets on Craig;however,as soon as his films do not deliver, they will pull a Brosnan on Craig and demote him to the former Bond stockpile. They have no loyalty from what I have seen to their actors and they run the show in the same authoritative manner as Vince McMahon runs the WWE.

Was he in character as Bond in that photo? If it was a photo of Craig as himself, then he can wear what he likes. Sean Connery used to wear casual clothes off-set in his Bond days too.

Forster stated that Eon got what they wanted with him as their director:"Not an action director, but someone who can deal with actors". Sounds pretty promising for a Bond film, don't you think?

Of course. Don't you know that Ian Fleming was a Very Serious Author, and that the only directors that could really do his work justice are Ingmar Bergman, Ken Loach and the guy who did the Three Colours trilogy?

They sold out 007 to cast Daniel Craig and latch onto the Bourne fad. Incredible that film critics and Bond websites have declared this 'Fleming's Bond'. Was Fleming's Bond a short dour thug?

Correct Oddjob. More Bourne than Bond in Craig's performance, 'no bout a doubt it'! If the Bourne Ultimatum is not as successful as the second film, Eon may have to rethink their new protege's usefulness.

Nope. Fleming certainly didn't (at least not that I can remember anyway, although I must check back through the novels to see if there is a hint of Jon Pertwee injecting himself anywhere).
