I dislike Daniel Craig as James Bond like many here i imagine!! But I was cogitating on why I did not like Skyfall apart from Mr Craig's incongruous casting as the famous spy.
I decided I did not like the new backstory created for Bond in Skyfall.
What are the other reasons that any Skyfall detractors have for disliking the film???

The endless talking and talking and talking and talking. Sam, luvvie, darling, you're not directing theatre any more, this is supposed to be a movie.
Oh, and the fact that Bond was a physical and emotional wreck for most of the film (except when the plot required him to suddenly turn into The Hulk). I know there are parallels with the beginning of TMWTGG but Fleming was wise enough to dispense with that subplot after the first couple of chapters, and then get on with telling the main story.

I know he was orphan i the Fleming novels etc. I did not like the, one could say, modern changes that were made to the backstory.
Ok where did Fleming mention spyfall or bond owning a lodge? Where did bond's Scottish house keeper ever sell off all his positions? Where did bond work for any m but the one in CR who was not a new guy in Dr. No?
I don't know the answer so may be surprised but the biggest problem was the neo orphan psyco drivel and Wayne manor batman ripoff. Where they going to go next Craig meets the widow of a man or woman he killed and is all emo!?

What modern changes? From what I've seen they didn't change anything. They've added more details to his backstory (the Skyfall lodge) but that doesn't contradict the backstory Fleming laid out.

The thing I HATE the most about SKYFALL is that it's considered a Bond movie. I HATE the reviews it undeservingly recieved and I HATE the box office success it undeservingly recieved.
1 other thing, I HATE the fact that it took up 2 1/2 hours of my time.

Is Mimzy referring to Craig's new sitcom. He is having a series of shows with his name in it (like Bill Cosby) such a sitcom - The Craig Show, and a detective show - The Craig Mysteries.

This would probably be my top pick as well. But I hate the fact that it was praised as the best Bond movie evaaaaah while it was a pathetic mix of Batman,MI and Home Alone. And it also picked up a few things from previous Bond movies as well.
