I would just add there significant difference between £0.79 song and £6.00 cinema admission. Beside this is Adele's year any single by her would be sales gold. I still have doubts about air wave play because one it's length, two it's quality, they dropped the ball on the lyrics. We'll see I suppose.

Either way if Skyfall the movie set records or no, I'm not affected, my problem with Daniel's performance and Eon's retread of Treadstone are of a much more fundamental nature.

If Bond 23 set records, consider sending in freaks as Bond and no exceptions, and I say this a billion times.

I did say Skyfall would be huge at the BO, and right now I can still see these predictions being right.
What are the sales numbers Sween?
Not sure. Does anyone else know?

In regards to that interview, Barbara says 9/11 was the cause for the change in direction, but I still say that it's because her and Michael couldn't handle the old formula properly, and they were lost for ideas. Michael has been wanting to explore Bond's beginning since Roger Moore left the role, but Albert Broccoli said to forget it and just move forward with The Living Daylights. But with Albert Broccoli gone, and the rights to Casino Royale finally acquired, Michael can at last get his wish to make a film about Bond's beginning.

I saw something in the news round up, estimating near 200,000 I'm not sure where this was, US, UK, total, ???? For the UK it is huge, for the US I don't know. Suppose I should ask Ke$ha

Oh, and I love how Barbara says "We make films for the fans." Yeah right. To me, it's more like you and Michael make the films for yourselves, and the new fans that came in with the reboot, while fans like myself who have been supporting the series for years get rejected.

Pia Toscano's This Time had 7.3 million views on youtube and her record company from American Idol fired her. Views do not equal success. The song is a dud Sweeney. A dud.

The Skyfall theme is good in that I may fall asleep listening to it in the cinema and won't have to look as Daniel Craig's stern faced mug for 3 hours,

http://blogs.sfweekly.com/shookdown/201 ... sleepy.php The Adele fans will download it. I do not doubt that, but that is as far as it goes and like Cr-egg's films, it will be front loaded in enthusiasm.

Another new Barbara Broccoli interview. She's asked about Tarantino and if she knew he'd wanted to make Casino Royale and her answer to the question of whether or not DC will do more films is less vague. It appears as if Daniel Craig will be Bond until the end of time if she has anything to do with it.

To this day, people still complain about Roger Moore being too old to play Bond in A View To A Kill, but Daniel Craig can stay in the role forever and it's perfectly fine. Oh gooood, I can hardly wait to see Q give Craig's Bond a turbo-charged wheelchair to get around in when he's an old geezer. But that will be okay, because what's good for the overrated and pampered Daniel Craig, isn't good for anyone else. Dear God I am so sick of the hypocrisy. And overall, it's up to the audience how long Craig should stay, not Barbara.

Why when Adele is doing the theme for HipBreak?

BTW very true on it's up to the audience. IMO that is the real myth of the Bond Franchise that the producers have any control over what happens with Bond when it the people who buy who will make the ultimate decision and have steered the series before and will steer it in the future.

I'm surprised at Taken 2 doing so well, as it has received absolutely shocking reviews.
It's showing about 20% currently on Rotten Tomatoes.
