What is your favourite non-classic Bond film?
What is your favourite Bond film outside of the classic official series which ran from 1962-2002?
Bring back Bond!

Don't like any of them very much, but NSNA was the least bad option for me.

The least bad choice, NSNA. Best production values would be CR (2oo6) although it had very cheap short cuts.

Both CR 67 and NSNA have traditional dark haired Bonds.

I would probably have to go with Never Say Never Again, since I haven't seen the 1967 Casino Royale, and I don't care at all for the Craig Bond films. Never Say Never Again is not all that great either, but recently, however, I've actually been curious to see it again. So I kind of regret giving my VHS copy of the film to my cousin.
You know the rebooted Bond films have failed you, when you start getting curious to go back and watch unofficial Bond films that you once didn't care for.

Like The Saint 007 above, I too would have to go with NSNA. NSNA is far from perfect, but better than the alternatives: CR 67 is a bloated mess and CR 06 & QOS are part of the Bond reBourne fiasco.

Just a thought, but shouldn't the 1954 version of Casino Royale be included in this list as well?

Good point everyone forgets about it.The Saint 007 wrote:Just a thought, but shouldn't the 1954 version of Casino Royale be included in this list as well?
I voted for NSNA.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

I think the 1954 Casino Royale was a TV movie. I've heard it's available on DVD on its own for a fairly low price.Dr. No wrote:Good point everyone forgets about it.The Saint 007 wrote:Just a thought, but shouldn't the 1954 version of Casino Royale be included in this list as well?Is it a classifiable as a movie or TV special? the 1967 CR DVD has 1954 CR as a special feature.
I voted for NSNA.

Re: What is your favourite non-classic Bond film?
I think it's a special as it was an episode of the Climax tv series. It is available as an extra on one of the R1 releases of the 1967 Casino Royale. But i'm not sure which one.

Re: What is your favourite non-classic Bond film?
I think CR54 is only an hour long (probably less once you allow for commercials), so I don't think it can really be called a movie, or even a special. It's just an episode of an anthology series, and no more a movie than, say, To Serve Man.

I was going to put the Barry Nelson Casino Royale in the poll but as Kristatos says its a TV show/movie and the others are films that were released in the cinema!
Bring back Bond!
