Haven't seen the Mesrine films. Going back to Dredd, Alex Garland has said that $50 million box office gross is the bar for a sequel. He didn't say whether that was North American or worldwide, but either way, that's a pretty low bar.

Oh, I remember. It's a shared trauma for Dredd fans everywhere. But what I've seen of this so far looks far superior, and the fact that the script is by Alex Garland, with a polish by Dredd's creator, John Wagner, is very encouraging.

The Amazing Spider Man movie i have watched last. I had watched this movie last Sunday with my friends. The previous movie of that series is awesome but this one is not more good.

Last time i had watch The Dark Knight Rise it's really amazing action and adventure movie.

I like to watch movies.Last movie that i watched is "The Avengers".I like the actions which are played by "Robert Downey Jr.", "Chris Evans" and "Scarlett" in this movie.

The Possession. A updated version of The Exorcist.Don't bother.I didn't think it was all that scary, TBH.

Battleship. A mix of ID4 with Transformers probably with better acting but still sucked. I used to think Rihanna looked hot she looked drugged out in this.

Saw Brave when I was on holiday in Eastbourne. Not Pixar's best, perhaps (in fact, it felt more like "proper Disney" than a Pixar film in tone), but the animation was beautiful. I saw it in 2D, but I'd imagine the fantasy version of the Scottish Highlands that it depicted would have looked even more spectacular in 3D. The plot felt a bit linear and insubstantial though. It could have done with a few more twists and turns.

I was planning to see Dredd tonight, but I had a stinking cold and didn't feel up to it. I think it's the sudden drop in temperature coming back from my holiday - the south coast has been a lot warmer than Bristol these last few days (it has a milder climate generally - although it is not far away geographically, the prevailing winds come from the Mediterranean rather than the Atlantic, which makes a big difference).

Less than a month in the new school year and the kids brought home the first cold of the season. Got all of us this time, one of the worst sore throats I've had.

Watched Resident Evil Retribution last weekend. I know shaken is not too crazy into this, but I find it entertaining.

The studio is forecasting a $10-12 million opening weekend for Dredd. I hope it does better than that. The $50 million figure I gave for a sequel to be greenlit is what it needs to make in the US and Canada, not worldwide. It'll be hard to reach that figure from such a low opening weekend, given how front-loaded films are these days.

Yesterday, I watched Tomorrow Never Dies for the first time in quite a while. I think Dr. Kaufman is a pretty interesting character, and it's too bad he didn't get much screen time. He should have been the main henchman, in my opinion.

That was my first Bond film ever when I was 11, I thought it was so boring I turned it off after the generic car chase. It turned me off from watching more Bond films for awhile. Kinda wish I saw Goldfinger or Thunderball first, cause I know my younger self would have really dug them. Live and Let Die would have been a hoot too I think.

Tomorrow Never Dies is a Bond film that I don't watch quite often. When I just viewed it again recently, that was the first time in 12 years. So yeah, it's not one of my most favourite/watched Bond films, but at the same time, I don't consider it to be completely horrible as some do. My favourite Brosnan Bond film is GoldenEye.

I was born in 1986, so although you could say I technically grew up during the Brosnan era, I really grew up watching the Connery/Moore Bonds on TV, and didn't get into the Brosnan Bonds until a little later on. I started watching Bond when I was around 5 or 6 whenever they were on TV. These TV specials didn't show the Brosnan Bonds, and because Lazenby and Dalton didn't make many Bond films, the Bonds I saw the most were Sean Connery and Roger Moore. Connery and Moore grew on me the most, and have been my favourite Bonds ever since.

The only trouble was, if they came on later during a weekday, I wasn't able to stay up and fully watch them because of school the next day. I would be in the middle of watching the film, usually during an exciting action scene, before I was told to get to bed early for school. Later on, we started renting them. My father would take me to the video store on the weekends, and I would pick out at few Bond films or so. I remember seeing the video cover of Moonraker, and being all excited to see James Bond going to space, and how my eyes were fixed to the TV screen when watching it. Goldfinger was another favourite of mine as a kid, and it was the first Bond film I bought on video.

The first time I watched Tomorrow Never Dies I thought it was a lot of fun but it feels somewhat mechanical when you return to it and doesn't repay further viewings in the way that the old Bond films do. That was the film where they threw the script away and made it up as they went along. Jonathan Pryce said he signed on to make a completely different film and wouldn't have done it if he'd known they were going to change so much.
