TV Ratings: 'X Factor' premiere down, loses to 'The Voice' and 'America's Got Talent' in viewers: "The X Factor" Season 2 premiere averaged 8.5 million viewers, down over 3.5 million from last year's premiere. And it turns out Simon Cowell was right to be irritated about going up against "The Voice" -- NBC's singing competition program beat FOX's singing competition program by over 3 million viewers.

Once "The Voice" was off the air, "X Factor" did fare better against the "America's Got Talent" finals, only trailing by 1.5 million. The "AGT" finals were up over 2 million viewers over the previous week, but were down 2 million viewers over the 2011 finals.
Simon cowell is hisssssssss----tooooooooooooooooooor------yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :!: His show is terrible and his judges are dread awful. It should not be renewed next year if Fox is smart.

Ugh..might have to start watching stuff other than the network stuff. Very few of the new shows this season are any good.

Interesting quote by the indy Jones people
The effects were there to supplement that and to go beyond what was going on in the James Bond movies that were pretty much rooted in reality.
this is talking about Roger Moores Bond because it Raiders they were talking about.

The film is set to open on Oct. 23, and still no announcement as to who is singing the theme. The British tabloid press has floated sightings of Adele heading into the famed Abbey Road studios in August, which happens to be where Skyfall's composer, Thomas Newman, was overseeing the soundtrack.

This is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims
No sorry I've been to that part of the world and this is insane. I'm sure the film pissed of the militants, easy to piss them off. Most of the population do not have internet access so its not a personal affront by seeing it, still probably pisses them off but this was planned if it wasn't the film it'd be something else as the "trigger".

To be completely clear I do not blame the USA at all for the attacks, not the president, not his policies, not the demented film maker. It's important to realize this is a real attack on the USA because we are the USA there is no one trigger it is something more, it hard to describe. It's a real hate, it's a evil in a way.

Whatever this turns out to be it been in the works a long time.
This
is
a
real
threat.

How come these same areas were dancing in the streets September 11, 2001? As much as this US administration has attempted to appease this region, the results are evident, and the same as they were in 2008.

However, most people really don’t care what numbers these talk shows got. What they care about is “General Hospital.” These ratings haven’t been publicized. However, rumors had stated that they have risen since they moved to their new 2 p.m. time slot. What do the true soap opera fans think of the current rating race for these new talk shows? Many think that ABC is just wasting their time promoting any of these shows. They know they do not plan on watching. They know many other viewers do not plan on watching talk shows, stating they truly do not have the time. When they do have time to watch shows in the daytime, they want to be entertained by shows that offer rich storytelling. They don’t want to hear celebrities talk about their lives, they don’t want to hear doctors and researchers tell them how to live, they don’t want to hear more beauty, and fashion advice and they don’t want to listen to advice on how to handle their children or relationships. They want to escape reality for a small bit of time or they will continue focusing on their real life, while they keep the television turned to it’s off position. (Katie has not been received well. Matt Lauer and Couric have lost touch with their own egos as well. The public has stopped watching both these irrelevant losers).

Most of the shows we watch (and really look forward to) are cable network shows.
Castle and NCIS are our main network shows.

The vast majority of stuff I watch is on cable. Can't really get excited about any of the new shows..House is no longer on-that was a big highlight-hell the ONLY highlight- of my TV watching week last season.

I wonder if that quote was mentioned in any of Bond books or movies.

Finished Snow White and the huntsman if Kristen Stewart had any female fans they are gone the girls watching it tonight were the most viscous of all of us making smart ass comments. When we watch movies its a adlib fest so far tonight we established Snow white "did" the dwarfs, troll, white horse, Snow White's army,

The movie was not bad, Kristen Stewart there are better Snow White the girl who was Alice in the new Alice in wonderland, same movie basicaly.

Charlize Theron was good as the queen OTT sometimes but scary.

If its not here a lot of fanboys are going to be mad. Hopefully they do a better theme than they have been doing.

Hopefully the theme song doesn't get any attention from big American film awards.
