After the backlash Quantum Of Solace got, the Producers will certainly try hard to get people excited for Skyfall. The return of certain classic Bond elements is one of the ways they're doing this. On the various forums I visit, I've seen some people getting hyped about the return of Q , gadgets/Aston Martin DB5, James Bond theme, and gunbarrel logo. It just goes to show that classic Bond still holds a lot of value.
Classic Bond elements or not, there's nothing special about Bond 23 even if it is going to be great.

The same build up as QOS except they reviled Q is back. Is the James Bond theme really going to be used this time?

Its hard to tell where people are with this some places get excite easily over nothing. I don't feel people here all that excited yet October is where I expect the excitement to be there or not. Now for the Hobbit its measurable and mixed with a fear they will mess it up and how the hell do they get a trilogy of one of the shortest books in the LOTR series.

Batman TDKR beat TDK foreign total, damned shame nuts are hurting people going out to movies, shootings and bomb threats if this were Iraq it might makes some sense with sectarian violence there but in the USA dear lord what are we coming to.

I recently watched the Sarah Palin movie ‘Game Change’. It’s frightening to think she could have been in a position of power.

With the nearly-inevitable underperformance of all three new movies, the story of the weekend could be the nationwide expansion of 2016 Obama's America. Based on co-director Dinesh D'Souza's book The Roots of Obama's Rage, the documentary appears to take a conservative look at President Barack Obama's past and then speculate how that will impact future policy decisions should Obama be re-elected in November. The movie opened at one location on July 13, and was flying under-the-radar until last weekend when its per-theater average jumped 42 percent to $7,365 despite nearly tripling its theater count to 169. That kind of momentum is practically unheard-of, and suggests word-of-mouth is very strong.

To take advantage of this buzz, distributor Rocky Mountain Pictures managed to book 2016: Obama's America in 1,090 locations this weekend, which is the widest release for a political documentary since Michael Moore's Sicko in 2007. On Wednesday, Fandango reported that the movie was accounting for a whopping 34 percent of ticket sales on the site, which guarantees the movie a Top 10 finish this weekend. In fact, while it won't get anywhere close to Fahrenheit 9/11's $23.9 million debut (a similar anti-president doc released during the heat of a re-election campaign), it's almost guaranteed to set a new weekend record for a conservative documentary ahead of 2008's Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed ($2.97 million at 1,052 locations). http://cdn.thedailybeast.com/content/ne ... cached.jpg

I don't give much credence to political hit pieces / propaganda . Looking at it another way we are stuck with Biden who is nuts and John McCain is still alive so Sarah would probably be replaced as VP in a reelection as Biden should be.
I never expected Dick Cheney to live out the 8 years of Bush, he also should of been replaced in the 2004 reelection. Colon Powell or someone else interesting as VP a woman maybe. These politicians never add a interesting person to the ticket unless they are under the gun sure of losing.

What is funny is how many of those who wanted to impeach Clinton are saying what a great guy he is hoping he'll throw Obama under the buss again.

Another tragic shooting in NY. Some say the responding police may of shot some people on accident.

This kind of news has me wondering if we are in a depression not a recession. Some good economic news this year and people are still hurting bad.

It has also been widely reported that the Democratic National Committee had a hard time booking musical acts due to the fact that the MTV Video Music Awards will be taking place in Los Angeles on September 6, the same night Obama will accept the party's nomination for president. The convention also commences just after Labor Day weekend, which means celebs may already have plans.

Bankruptcy court documents filed earlier this week show that Seagate Technology -- which makes hard drives and other storage products -- is offering to buy the Fremont, Calif., building for $90.3 million. The original building cost was cited in earlier documents as roughly $300 million.
The offer, though not final, became an instant political football as the Romney campaign used it to resurrect accusations that the Obama administration gambled, and lost, with taxpayer dollars. The government gave a $528 million loan to Solyndra.
"Solyndra is the ultimate symbol of President Obama's failed attempts to pick winners and losers in the free market," Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said. "The Obama administration's decision to put its friends and donors ahead of taxpayers was wrong, and even the sale of Solyndra's palatial headquarters won't make things right."

Dallas is cable’s #1 new drama with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the year-to-date. The Southfork reboot also is right behind TNT’s Perception among cable’s top new series of the year-to-date among total viewers. For its first season, Dallas averaged 4.5 million viewers in live plus same day delivery, with 1.4 million adults 18-49 and 1.8 million adults 25-54. TNT says the first season ended with 4.3 million viewers for last night’s episode — up 32% over last week’s episode. The show also scored significant growth over last week among key demos, with adults 18-49 up 58% to 1.6 million and adults 25-54 up 49% to 1.9 million. (MP, get watching :!:)

Cinemax just showed Cowboys And Aliens. I decided to suffer through it..............          One of the WORST films ever made :!: Cr-egg's acting is as stiff as a starched undershirt :!: How this crumb earns one dime acting is beyond belief. I cannot believe the producers actually believed in this project after watching it being edited. It should have been scrapped half-way through to save the millions they threw out on this utter trash.

I was hoping Expendables 2 would gross higher than its predecessor, but I guess ParaNorman must have done some damage.

That d**n supervillain. If it wasn't for him doing that evil plot of his in Colorado, the Bat's final match would have been higher than it really is, and I'm talking about US.

I hope Bond 23 ends up much worse than Andy's arachnid.
