Bourne Legacy looks like a $44 million opener. Less than the last Bourne but like Spiderman it looks like the studio are happy if it does 2/3 of the last one.

Where is FBF? haven't seen him around.

I don't think so Craig is not engaging as a lead actor I can't imagine how mopy he'd be about his parents being killed. No wait I can. The Sky is Falling
As a villain,,,, :?: riddle me this

Thing is Batman as a image sells, so does Bond and Spiderman but then can fail. Bond is unique because Bond can be reinvigorated by new casting, Batman can be recast but they put a halt on the Bruce Wayne Bat, it would be a revolving door with a new Bat but it hasn't happened yet so nobody knows if it will work. Bourne Legacy is testing it this weekend

Like Spider the news will be how successful Bourne 4 is, opening it make take #1 from a damaged TDKR out for month the next month will show if it can compete with the original franchise or like spider it runs out of gas.

As of today BO MOJO has spider at $680,443,442. It ranks fourth out of all the spidermen film in US BO. It has some success Sony can built on for Spiderman 2.2 I think rebooting the first story is what got them.

The US election seems to have been a bit low key in the UK coverage this time round. Maybe it's because the last one was such as mad one with the Clinton/Obama race and Sarah Palin!

The one positive thing I can say about Quantum Of Snorlax, is that it provides me with a very good sleep after watching it. How they managed to make everything including the action scenes so boring in that film, I'll never know.

Well now that the Olympics has finished, and the British have won a shed load of medals :) .......iam sure in the coming weeks there will be quite a bit of news here on the American election.
The thing is it appears its gonna be a close race.........who ever wins is gonna be faced with some tough domestic issues, and then there is the foreign issue of Iran which wont go away!

Can't believe the Olympics are over - I'm going to be very bored tomorrow. :( It was so nice and so much fun to see it in Britain.

I would not like to be the US President - I'd have a nervous breakdown after a few months in office.

I thought the Olympic closing ceremony was a bit of a letdown. After the bold, imaginative opening ceremony, this seemed like a return to the empty spectacle of past Olympic ceremonies.

Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man has grossed $435.1 million since opening June 12 on the foreign circuit. Weekend tally was an estimated $3 million drawn from 80 markets. It did an estimated $2 million in the USA and will now be out of the top 10 in the USA. It's just about done worldwide and did $690 million, which is more than it deserved globally, but $200 MILLION short of Spider-man 3 :!: Pascal and Sony are clueless. The Bat is flying high at $835 million now globally. With the olympics now over, it might get more added views by FBF and others.

FBF, if Eon keeps DC after this film, send in http://img1.catalog.photos.msn.com/Imag ... h=498&so=2 as Bond. MIB 3 is doing similar numbers to what Bond 23 will do, unless 2 weekends of bad press comes out of the UK, to stop any first weekend momentum here in the USA, before it's destruction by Twilight.

I think Craig is already signed on for the next Bond film, and afterwards it's optional if he wants to do more or not. The producers would like him to be in 8 Bond films because they think he's the best thing since Sean Connery, but I really hope that doesn't happen. If we're lucky, perhaps Craig will get tired of the role and quit after the next film.

If by "the next Bond film" you mean Skyfall, then yes. His contract is for three, with the option of a fourth. However, if SF performs below expectations, he could be "persuaded" not to take up that option.

There was a wrong idea years ago Craig was contracted for 5, he's got 4 but the 4th (Bond 24) is optional and might not happen. Then again it might. Depends if his vision and EON's dream of Bourne well well this time.

FBF on vacation?

Welcome Back Katied  Soulless was on board entertainment no wonder so many jump ship!

I'm curious if the Bourne 4 numbers really have the studio happy, or do they see danger signs. $38 million is low better than TR also spiderman is lower than previous films too, is it really OK. I sort of wonder if the economy is hurting the movie industry more than they care to admit.

FBF is away on a secret directive, ORDER 007. What about $14.00 ticket prices in New York? Do you think people are fed up with lead actors getting $30 million to do a film and we wind up paying for them? Kristin Stewart is the highest money earning female in Hollywood, and her acting is ABYSMAL. What does that tell you about what sells these days? Eon is now promoting Bond nail polish with their transvestite Bond    http://pmchollywoodlife.files.wordpress ... .jpg?w=600 "Bright gold, slate gray, and fire-y red are rich trendy colors to look forward to this fall. Dark and dramatic colors will make you feel like a sultry Bond temptress or edgy villain. With hot names like “Die Another Day,” “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service,” and “Moonraker,” you’ll be able to channel your favorite Bond films –past and present — and look sophisticated glam at the same time. This launch will be available in October 2012. Skyfall hits theaters November 9, 2012."

Horshack http://entimg.s-msn.com/i/150/News/Aug1 ... lo_150.jpg is dead at 63. Cause of death not mentioned. His boyfriend confirmed it. The Bourne Legacy took a HUGE drop Monday by over 60% and it did only $1.5 million more than the Bat did on Monday. The public is Bourned To Death I guess and no longer interested. Spider-fly is done, out of the top 10, and will be 14th or so by next Sunday. What trash.

I don't know how reliable this is, but here's an article that says Daniel Craig could be replaced after Skyfall http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londoner ... 38215.html
