Sorry BJ but I just can't see this happening. Skyfall trailer has been well-received on most threads I've scoured on the internet, and with the London Olympics showcasing Craig's 007 with the Queen, I can actually see Skyfall easily surpassing CR's BO takings worldwide.

Add Adele to the mix, with a potential no. 1 top single for the charts, and I can see Skyfall being one of the biggest Bond films in years.

And this doesn't really have anything to do with Craig as 007. Stick any actor in the role at this present time now and the film will still have the same BO impact. Craig is fortunate to be in a Bond film which happened in the same year as the London Olympics, with a show-stealing scene in the opening ceremony that will do far more publicity for the film than anything EON/Sony could have ever dreamed of.

Sorry guys, but I can see some very disappointed faces on here come November....
Well received by who, internet Cr-egg lovers on pro-Eon websites? Sweeney, this film gets 1 free week here in the USA. Twilight and The Hobbit will deeeeeeeeeeeestroy it once they premiere in the theatres. The question is how much will Bond 23 gross November 9-11 in the USA? It has no competition so it will again front load. Internationally is another story. If this garbage Sony put out with Spiderman did over $412 million overseas, anything is possible......BUT, critics and word of mouth will all say how this plot is a retread of OTHER Bond plots and OTHER film plots and that will dissuade repeated viewings in the theatres. Cr-egg thinks he is the main attraction......he's nothing......it's Bond that is the attraction, and he tarnishes it immensely. $600 million seems like peanuts these days for most big name films. That number is nothing for Eon to crow about if attained.

Bond 23 to more Bond-like or not, I'm not going to see it even if it is great. If Bond 23 surpasses CR's numbers, you might as well have someone like Marty Feldman as Bond.

Or Shane McGowan. Or maybe not, considering Mr. McGowan has fixed his teeth that he's no longer a weirdo to be Bond.

If not Shane, then him as potential Bond:

My favorite is The Undertaker. Speaking of an individual in the 3rd picture, you know who he is, correct?

Realistically Spyfall should beat CR just with inflation, QOS should have beat CR too. That's where I'm at, I expect a MIB 3 kind of performance. I believe that is reasonable expectation for the competition it faces and how long it's been since the last.

If everyone in a internet forum bought a ticket it'd be a disastrous not even close to $1 million but it does sort of give a poll of how some attitudes are but most Bond fans would cheer for anything, I don't think the Queen or Adele are going to make a #1 movie, come on they are killing M and have 10 year old as Q that could have backlash if there is going to be any and if QOS is forgiven. Someone standing at the counter ready to handed over $20 or more to see the movie will QOS hit them and have them say hell yeh or naw wait for the $1 showing.

Spyfall could also have a LTK outing. My day won't be ruined no matter what happens :007:

Paul Heyman (born September 11, 1965) is an American entertainment producer, best known for his career in professional wrestling as a promoter, manager, commentator and journalist. He is also an occasional actor in film. He is currently signed to WWE appearing on its WWE Raw brand. I am a huge wrestling aficionado FBF, going back to the legendary Bruno Sammartino. You like Mean Mark, aka The Undertaker, the only man undefeated at Wrestlemania? Feel free to expand on wrestling matters here too in the future FBF. Do you know what famous 3 generation wrestler was in a Bond film and who his 2 wrestling relatives are FBF? You have 30 seconds to respond............tick tock........

Dwayne Johnson's grandfather Peter Maivia was in YOLT. As for his 2 wrestling relatives, are you referring to Afa and Sika Anoa'i?

Back to the subject of weirdos, would pick Paul Heyman as one of the contenders if Death Star III grosses (even by one bit) higher than CR's worldwide gross of $594 million and/or QOS' US gross of $168 million?

The father of the Rock and the son-in-law of high chief Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson completes the trio.

Bit late to the party with this, but the NBC Olympic Idiocy Endurance Challenge made me laugh.

I can't get it to load. I will say I am disappointed with NBC we could gladly pay a premium of say $200-300 for a direct feed of all the events from the BBC.

What Sweeney said about the Olympics being not about Craig I agree with but I wouldn't have used a commercial (movie) character for a noble event. They did do better than I expected. It be been cool to see Pierce in the same thing but I'd still be cringing.

We need M3 to surpass $600 million. And speaking of the 10th film to enter the top 10, what about Rise of the Guardians and Hugh Jackman's Les Miserables?

Could they do huge numbers? "Joss Whedon signs on to write, direct 'Avengers' sequel
Aug. 7, 2012, 5:26 PM EST
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Joss Whedon has been hired on again as boss of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and their superhero pals for a sequel to "The Avengers."
The news came Tuesday from Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger, who said during a company earnings call that the filmmaker is returning to write and direct the sequel adapted from the Marvel Comics tales. Iger also said Whedon is helping to develop a Marvel-based TV series for ABC. Marvel is a Disney subsidiary. No details were provided on a start of production or release date for the sequel to "The Avengers," the year's biggest hit with nearly $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office." TV too? Do we need that? It could be a hit on tv with all of the garbage on now.

I'm asking you first. Rise of the Guardian is made from Dreamworks Animation. Les Miserables is one of the big name musicals, and your friend Hugh Jackman is in it.

Mamma Mia opened around the same time as TDK but managed to enter the top 10. Les Miserables is on the same day as The Hobbit, but whether it will enter the list, we will see.

And what about Disney's Wrecked-It Ralph? One of the previous Disney Animation blockbusters Tangled opened a week after DH1, and it managed to enter both Top 10 lists of 2010: worldwide and here in the US.

We shall see. IMBD only lists Bond 24 as a rumored role for Cr-egg, with NOTHING else :!: . If that's the case, NO studios have signed him on. What does that tell you? The only role he squawked about taking will wind up being his only means of support. He won't leave. He must be fired. Will they do it after this one?

Read this from George Lazenby: "And Lazenby insists his portrayal of 007 in 1969 was the most believable, adding, "It's the only film that treats him like a human being. He's not a robot killer like the latest Bond... When I did it, it had more heart. There's no heart to the new Bond."
