I doubt CvA will make $200 million total world wide. Plenty of egg on the smartest people in hollywood's face and it killed the new Tonto Werewolf slayer film so not bad for a days work.

"Even with its faults, Die Another Day has its virtues. Brosnan is probably the best James Bond since Connery, playing the super spy with a wonderful sense of panache, idealism and simmering brutality." Boxofficemojo 2002 statement. I agree.

Whoever took this doesn't know of the use of a thing called CONCEALER. And that he needs to have a relaxed face and the eyes OPEN to actually look good in a photo. WTF?

Harrison Ford said a curious thing.
JAM, is that what it looks like to people in Hollywood too?
Seriosuly where is the solid Bond news? This is as dead as it was during the 'hiatus'.

Settling for third, Harry Potter still tacked on $29.3 million from 61 territories to bring its foreign total to a phenomenal $858.2 million. It added $8.1 million in China and jumped nine percent to $5.2 million in Japan thanks to the Obon holidays. On Saturday or Sunday, Potter's worldwide total passed $1.2 billion.

Special Features - Battle of the Bonds: Michael Fassbender vs. Daniel Craig
14 June 2011 3:26 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

With talk of Michael Fassbender as a potential future Bond, Liam Trim oversees a battle between the X-Men: First Class star and 007 himself, Daniel Craig... Okay so I know technically Michael Fassbender isn’t a Bond but there was no way I was calling this anything else. If you’ve seen the new X-Men film you’ll know Fassbender essentially gives a super powered performance of our favourite suave secret agent. My review points out as much here. Critics up and down this green and pleasant land are saying they’d like to see Fassbender play Bond in future. Some are even calling for the head of Daniel Craig now, just two films after Craig successfully rebooted cinema’s longest running franchise to acclaim from commentators and audiences alike. But the problem is Casino Royale was almost six years ago. Since then we’ve had the action packed disappointment of Quantum of Solace, »

No matter how high the finale gets, our job with the boy wizard is not done yet.....not until after next year's Oscars. Once we get passed this awards ceremony, our money will go to the Bat and other non-Bond heroes.

Potter is STILL doing $1 million+ per day in the USA, adding to the totals. No way Twilight does these numbers November 18th. http://hollywoodcrush.mtv.com/wp-conten ... poster.jpg

The fun of Fassbender is that he is not Bond as Bond I think he'd be a bore. No doubt he is (way) more charismatic than Craig also having fun with it.
CR was a long time ago by this time Pierce had 3 movies under his belt and was making the 4th already he had establishing himself firmly as Bond ( IMO he did that with GE) Craig has 2 where he is not really Bond but becoming Bond and wants a 3rd after making the rotten Qos  sure why not.

And what exactly is "our work" with regard to the Oscars? I wasn't aware that anyone here was a member of the Academy.

What I'm saying we're rooting for the boy wizard until after the next year's Oscars. Once we're done with this young British hero, we'll set our eyes to the Bat and other non-Bond cinematic heroes. Right, BJ?

FBF wants Eon to realize that there ARE proper ways to make a film franchise work. The higher the Potter gross, the lower the "Cr-Aliens" gross, the more Hollywood will realize that Bond needs a new overhaul and DC will have to go. The problem is that the sauteed veggy does not care about Potter's success nor "Cr-Aliens" failure: what needs to happen is that the FINANCIERS see the HUGE box office takes out there and step back, and say, "hold it! Are we crazy to shell out more money on a DC Bond when Jackman or Cavill would add a huge box office boost instead as Bond?" This is FBF's premise. He wants Hollywood to wake up and remove Eon from the equation. Impossible? In this economy, maybe;however, in this economy Eon MIGHT be forced to remove the rotten Cr-egg from the role at the REQUEST of it's financial backers or else NO bond film in 2012. From what Undercover Ale is learning NOTHING is progressing on Bond 23 with ONLY 15 months to go for release YET the Man Of Steel is well underway filming with a 2013 release. Does that sum it up FBF? Potter wins Oscars......... "Cr-Aliens" wins Razzies.......that's the way we want it. I personally would LOVE to see Brosnan pull a NSNA deal. Even now, at 58, he would do well at the box office in that.

Time to see DC's Bond 23 CRASH and BURN, especially here in the US. I wonder if Babs won't mind having DC's Bond in drag again. Bond in drag is sure worse than Bond dressing up as a clown.

Bond or not, he's still worth multi-millions if only he has the right stuff that will bring him back to the minds of the general audience. A Tarantino movie should do the trick. What do you think BJ?
