When Hammer met Bond

Post by Kristatos »

Interesting blog post here on the connections between the two names that between them dominated the British film industry in the 1960s.

Haven't seen it for many years. but I seem to remember it being fun in a kitschy sort of way, with Christopher Lee's presence elevating it somewhat. Kind of like TMWTGG, in other words.

The Hammer films have not been on much lately, apart from On The Buses!

Yes, I've seen a few of the comedies on ITV4 and the like, but not the horror films for which they are most famous. I think there was some sort of campaign to get more Hammer horror on TV.
