What is it with these Anthony Hopkins rumors? And, he's supposed to play a villain? Well great, he would definitely play a good villain! Too bad this is the usual recycled stuff, and too bad that EVERY single actor associated to the project so far ended up being a "oh no I'm not doing it". :->

Shaken: Day of the Dead  well if Craig is a wax candle turned actor as BJ often says, surely this applies?

ETA:    Blowfeld's avatar just scared me!  I jumped!
I don't believe these type of stories becuase it is unnamed sources if it were a real story they would have tried to contact Hopkins representatives then there would be a note in the story about Hopkins or Eon representatives not contacting them in time for the story. But this is too good a story check out might as well publish it

The first time I remember Antony Hopkins's Name connected with a Bond was as a Posable Villain in TND, Since then It just seems to pop up all the Time. Who knows someday he might Do One. :)

Yes that is Daniel in Drag. I am not sue this deserves a topic of it's own.
To help promote International Women's Day, James Bond has taken a moment from getting women out of their knickers to slip into a pair himself. In a new video narrated by Dame Judi Dench, reprising her role as M, Daniel Craig (as 007) is informed of all the professional indignities being forced upon women -- even today!

Oddly, the character has done more to demoralize women over his 50 year history than almost any other -- and I'm not just counting the smattering of silly names (Dr. Christmas Jones, Dr. Molly Warmflash, Pussy Galore, Plenty O'Toole, Holly Goodhead, Penelope Smallbone and, of course, Octopussy) he's subjected them to!

Here’s a video of Daniel Craig listening to Dame Judi Dench rattle off alarming statistics about the still-prominent gender gap in the U.K. and elsewhere to honor National Women’s Day 2011. The video, scripted by Jane Goldman of Kick Ass, is blunt, articulate, and coldly sobering.

Then Daniel Craig is suddenly in drag, and the video becomes very literal and bizarre, but it still says very serious. I thought drag was supposed to equal instant hilarity, as per the Oscars? Remember when James Franco was like, “I’m in a dress” and we weren’t sure why that was happening or why the segment lasted another 20 seconds without him doing anything else? Either way, the video makes a lot of very serious points, and there’s Daniel Craig in drag:

I find Bond dressing in drag quite disturbing. Thank god that craignotbond.com website has lost all its popularity becasue this would just be fuel for them.

:)

I find the notion that Craig is supposed to be James Bond the most disturbing thing.

OMFG. Some people(James Franco and Benedict Cumberbatch among them) can get away with drag.Daniel Craig cannot.

And "lost all it's popularity?" we've got 500 plus members now. Not to the extent of The Place That Can't Be Named or,indeed, Commander Bond, but quite a few.And quite active as of late. 8)

And yet they can not stop thinking about this place. [shrugs] I don't know if it is popular or not but people still come around to see what is up and this place has been more on top of the news for what is actually happening. (thanks to the help of Ale and Mazer  :) )

I am laughing so hard I can't even begin to explain.

I opened the thread to post Daniel Craig in drag and I thought people HAD to have seen it but the reaction and that post James quoted from CBn made it all so much better    I am laughing like Goose after Iceman makes his idiotic comment about them being second thus not on the board when they're about to leave the meeting room and Goose goes "you kill me, you really do!"

That is one awfully bad drag. Just BAD  And I am sorry, James Bond doesn't do that. Daniel Craig the actor can do it (even though as Katie said, some actors can pull off drag, some others can't. And Craig definitely can't), but not James Bond. In fact, Craig has NEVER been Bond but just a generic, gym-pumped, Mario-style jumping wannabe. This is the ultimate proof, as Bond surely wouldn't do something like that. Not now or ever.
And yet they can not stop thinking about this place. [shrugs] I don't know if it is popular or not but people still come around to see what is up and this place has been more on top of the news for what is actually happening. (thanks to the help of Ale and Mazer  :) )
Thanks to everyone here, you included, really :D Mazer and I happen to have, ahem, a little insight from those who are in the game so that helps us not being fooled by fake news and stuff that means nothing or is just a smoke mirror for something else. Which in the end results in us pretty much knowing what's going on way before the fanboys are faced with the harsh truth. Ah, it feels good

Precisely!!

Yeah sure lost popularity... except going up in member number and hits  These people, they just kill me

ETA my friend from Mexico just saw and she said "That is not an image I want to see. GROSS!"

This the final straw that broke the back of Eon's influence on James Bond. They brought it to an all-time LOW now! "Dame" Dench and Eon should be thrown off of the franchise once and for all. Their feminization of Bond by parading 'Great Dane' "Danielle" Cr-egg like that proves beyond the shadow of a doubt their lost consciousness about this franchise. There is NO way in hell ANY of the 5 prior Bond actors would have been asked to 'drag' Bond like this, and I doubt they would have agreed to this, if asked. It is an utter disgrace. As for CommanderBond.net, that crack of their's about this website will be responded to ,in kind, by me, IF my account there is still active and IF they do not delete what I have to say. They have thrown down the gauntlet and they will get it right back!

But all kidding aside, that is actually a good title for a spy movie. Surely better than Red Sky at Dawn or whatever
