Why is Bond 23 called Bond 23 anyway? Surely it should be Bond 3 as the Craig reboot crap has no relation to the classic series.

I think blondenotbond is Captain "Mike Yarwood" Nash.

That's one of my big problems when the subject of who should be Bond comes up. Because they're either too mainstream/old/bald /fat(delete as applicable).

From a DCINB's point of view, i can't think of anyone who would fit the role of Bond who has not already been mentioned here.

As the years drift by, many contenders for the part, will themselves be too old when Criag retires from the role.

Maybe, there is currently an unknown actor now, who could shine in the next few years and get the part.

I think personally that the next actor to play Bond could be a complete surprise to us all, and i know the DCINB's are dreading that Bab's will have the last word on the choice.

007, how's the plan to put Babs away going? Because we absolutely need to put that in action
I'm working on that but it's quite complicated because we are trying to put Barbara and Captain Nash away in the same place. :P

One thing that made me laugh recently, was that someone suggested that Bab's retire from EON, and open up a tea shop.

Who said that?

NOTHING entrusted to women ever went right.
I still say sadowitz can't do worse than a purse lipped effeminate squashed face blonde haired nothing.

EA, I don't think the unknown angle is gonna be done anymore. They have already done it with Craig and the results haven't been thrilling (And I mean financially, not just in terms of the public being totally divided.) Pretty sure, especially given Babs got her way once already, that the next one is gonna be a much more traditional Bond fella. But we shall see.

I hear Marmite is going to become the official food of the Bond films.

That's a pretty bold accusation Capt. Dom.
Care to share why you think that?

Nope, bondnotblonde and Luciana Paluzzi both have (remarkably similar) IP addresses in London, whereas Nash is in Australia.

You did do a tour recently of your impressions which included Frank Spencer, Harold Wilson and Eric Morecambe.

guys...can we gat back on the subject?
Let's take a vote for Sadowitz as Bond...even if you don't like him it's surely an effective "protest" vote.

Ah now it makes sense, if it is to protest and not because we believe the guy is actually in ANY way fit to be Bond then I can see it. But at that point I think my first choice would be FBF's suggestion: CARROT TOP FOR BOND!

carrot top has the wrong coloured hair..so that would not even work as a joke!
I had hoped that this would be a serious forum for all true Bond lovers...if I am wrong, I apologise and will join in with the laughter all round. But if we are to be serious and try to pool our collective skills together, then it is our duty to keep the Bond franchise alive by recommending the best possible Bond for Ms. Brocolli AND HOPE SHE ACTS ON IT. In my opinon, its Sadowitz hands down. Unless we can think of a decent alternative -and fast - we are going to see the end of the bond films as we know it.

We're serious enough not to want a 50-year-old comedy magician as Bond.
