Some of Inception's action sequences clearly owe a lot to James Bond. Nolan has admitted 007 was a big influence.

With the Bond franchise in uncertain territory, how does DiCaprio feel about stepping into Daniel Craig's secret agent shoes?

Actors don't have much choice in these type of Q&A. It's verboten to actively seek another actors role. The acting community is a community very sensitive to appearances, most actors are out of work so taking food off someone else table is bad manners. If he had said something along the lines of "Hell yeah Christopher Nolan and I are ready to go! Nolan is calling MGM to pitch this" It would be completely out of line. Brozza praises Craig and has never seen one of Craig's movies, it is polite and proper. Good office politicking. Doesn't mean DiCaprio isn't a fan just you shouldn't count on an honest answer in these types of situations.

I think Leo would have made a much better young Bond than Craig! There are thousands of actors who look like Bond who could be cast......

Yeah, he only starred in the sixth biggest grossing movie of all time (adjusted for inflation), Titanic didn't even make the top 5. And he didn't win any of the three Oscars he was nominated for. What a loser

Honestly, I don't get the appeal of the sinking boat movie(Titanic)-I've never seen it and never will and I'm proud of that fact. Leo has the same birthday as my youngest nephew(November 11th) so I can't hate him too much!

Well, then how do you know you can't see the appeal? I'm not one of those people who thinks it's the greatest movie ever made - it isn't, by a long shot. But it's not hard to see why it was so successful. It has the perfect balance of romance for the ladeez and enough 'splodo for their husbands and boyfriends not to feel that they're being made to suffer through it the way they do when watching a Twilight movie, for example.

Actually, I don't agree. Most of the advance publicity consisted of stories about a hugely expensive folly that was probably going to crash and burn like Heaven's Gate or Waterworld. It's success took a lot of people by surprise. Though it didn't stop them writing exactly the same story about Avatar.

Yep Titanic was suppsoed to flop biggg time. Great date movie for a young man at the time. It was over hyped after words.

My probelm with DiCaprio is my mental image of him is as that young kid And the kid in teh quick and the dead. I don't remember the last movies i saw him in, but I will say he has earned his place in hollywood. he was thought to be a over hyped boytoy after titanic, he went a little out of control with the fame and did the work to discipline himself adn make it as serious actor. Remember when his entourage was out of control and he was getting fat? Well he didn't do a Downy Jr or Lohan he had the self control to do it himself that means everything in my book.
