Activision: New Tony Hawk, Bond, Spider-Man in 2010
New games in the Tony Hawk, James Bond and Spider-Man series will be published next year, Activision executives said in a conference call Wednesday.
Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith said the sci-fi first-person shooter Singularity, originally scheduled for late 2009, will be released between January and the end of March, Kotaku reported. He also said that the company will offer “new releases” in the Call of Duty franchise, without specifying if those would be in the form of downloadable content or full retail titles.
When it was Blizzard chief Mike Morhaime’s turn, he commented on the delay of StarCraft II to 2010 and said what else we should expect from the studio next year. (Hint: Probably not Diablo III.)
In response to a question about whether the game’s delay would affect the anticipated launch of Diablo III in 2010, Morhaime said, “The move of StarCraft into next year does not impact the schedule. And so it would be correct to conclude that you could expect two releases of Blizzard for next year. But I would not make any conclusions on what those titles would be.”
Morhaime has said in the past that Blizzard would like to launch one World of Warcraft expansion a year, so I think that that would be more likely than a Diablo III release in 2010.
He might not make any conclusions at this time, but fans and analysts will. What say you? Perhaps we’ll find out more of Blizzard’s 2010 plans at this BlizzCon later this month.

Will the Bond game be unrelated to the next Bond movie? The next Bond movie is presumably in 2011 after Daniel Craig finishes Barbara's play. I also heard he has a job in 2010 redecorating Barbara's mansion.

Will they go back to a Connery Bond like they have before is the big question. Not necessarily having Sean do the voice but in style or image.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Classic BOnd games could be cool. Dr. No w/Connery or the story form the book, made for todays game machines. go from dr.n o to DAD make them according to the story and featuring the orginal actor and music. Thats what I'd like anyhow
