Re: Happy birthday Ian Fleming
This year is Albert R. Broccoli's 100th Birthday. Last year was Ian Fleming's 100th, I always had the idea of Cubby being much younger than Fleming.

Ian Fleming died quite young. It would have been interesting to see what influence he would have had on the Bond if he had died in the 1980's.

Re: Happy birthday Ian Fleming
I don't think he had a whole lot of influence on the movies even when he was still alive. I'm glad he didn't live to see the series' descent into farce during the 70s, though he might have liked John Glen's slightly more realistic 80's films better.Capt. PS: I like the new sig too. Who's the artist? It reminds me a little of Josh "Shag" Agle.

The Bond movies today would have been better if he's still alive.
And Capt, DC looks like a cross between Gollum and Dobby in your sig.

I found the picture for the signature whilst sorting through my bookmarks. It's from brainchewer.co.uk. On the Brainchewer site it says all illustrations by www.alexiswest.com so I presume it's from there.
Re: Happy birthday Ian Fleming
Is the middle one meant to be Roger Moore? Connery and Brosnan are instantly recognisable, but Moore (assuming it is him) not so much.Capt. You mean that is not supposed to be George Hamilton.Kristatos wrote:Is the middle one meant to be Roger Moore? I got who they were supposed to be right away

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

I knew it was Roger straight away. I agree with Kristatos that the Roger is not as good a caracature as the Sean and Pierce ones.
