Where's Barbara?

Miss Broccoli was all over the place after CR with that grating voice. She seems to have gone publicity shy again in the wake of THE WORST BOND FILM OF ALL TIME.

Good point. We never heard much from her before CR

I do remember hearing Barbara & MGW interviewed on radio just after QoS had been released. The host asked some questions about the lack of Q & Moneypenny, gadgets, and Jason Bourne comparisons but Barbara just droned on with an air of polite indifference about how QoS had 'great' action sequences or something.

Of course  I wonder if it'll be the same way for Bond 23,or will she keep her mouth shut?

Overconfidence, thy name is Barbara Broccoli

She enjoyed the praise showered on her after Casino Royale, which is a natural thing to do. After QOS was ripped apart by the critics, she thought she would take her usual lower profile - which is a also a natural thing to do!

She is seen as someone who is taking care of her father's business, and is nomally only interviewed about Cubby Broccoli about what she is doing to continue his legacy. She invented a new style of Bond movie with Casino Royale and must have enjoyed the fact that critics were praising her for doing so. Her rapidly disintegrating new formula is taking some flak now - and so is she.

Well, shooting her mouth off before QOS came out probably taught her a lesson-one she *needed* to learn.

Too right.
Although in essence she single handedly destroyed his legacy.

After Quark she crawled back in the shadows where she belongs, wholeheartedly committing herself to what she wanted to do in the first place, which is not make Bond films. At least now she is afforded the opportunity to do so without mucking about with the Bond formula/fundamentals.

One hopes that maybe now Mikey will step up, and start doing the job HE should have been doing in the first place(she's his KID sister FCOL and she is more in charge than he is.What's wrong with this picture? :? )Though truth be know, he's not much better.
