Opening wide with 3,285 theaters and a large fanbase behind it during a Summer release. Three advantages that Defiance didn't have. What a "fair" comparison. Do you work for FOX?

Craig has his Bond image and notoriety and Eon's plastering of his mug on all major magazines. Surely such a well regarded actor should be able to do better than he has been doing, correct? It has dropped to number 12 already in the USA! I guess Mamma Mia! also had a built in audience as well. Facts are facts. Craig is NO draw, whatever the film, outside of Bond, and his numbers are down there as well, and should continue to fall further if he continues in the role in YOU ONLY BOURNE TWICE
It's hard not to deny that his non-Bond films haven't exactly been hits. I seem to recall a lot of problems with The Invasion-there were a lot of reshoots on that one, plus IIRC they changed the release date several different times.
Flashbacks Of a Fool disappeared before most people had a chance to see it. It'll have a cult following on DVD with completist Craig fans.

You could say the same for Connery during his tenure as Bond.

Connery was NOT annointed THE BEST ACTOR EVER TO PLAY BOND, as did Eon, in regards to Craig, correct? In that light,Craig is a no-show at the B.O. outside of Bond and is a false positive assertion by Eon.
Favorite Bond Movie: Octopussy From Russia With Love The Living Daylights On Her Majestys Secret Service Doctor No .... Ah heck all of them
Favorite Movies: Lawrence Of Arabia, Forrest Gump, Jaws, The Shawshank Redemption, Vertigo, The Odd Couple, Zoolander, Cool Hand Luke, The Great Escape...many more.
Location: Well here obviously. At the moment of course
Well I guess EON have an opinion of there lead actor, just like everyone else.
They're not going to proclaim Craig to be 'the best actor we could find for the money' are they?
I think he's the best Bond since Dalton myself. Whilst I understand many of your grievances with Craig, he does have the qualities that make a good Bond. For some of us, it's clearly not an issue.

Why are some of you more concerned about Craig outside of Bond?
All the other Bond actors have made films away from Bond. Post, during and after there Bond career.
It shouldn't be an issue. Whether his films win or lose at the box office, Craig has made two extremely successful Bond films.
FACT!
We've established that his non-Bond movies have pretty much all been flops and had some sort of problem(has anyone heard anything about I Lucifer, which he was supposed to be in with Ewan Mc Gregor, in a while? I think not, and I rest my case.)
