Who should have been Bond in Licence To Kill Mazers? Brosnan?

I think he said it should have had a different director, rather than a different lead actor. Was Peter Hunt still alive in '89? I'd like to have seen him do more than one Bond film, and I think LTK would have been a good one for him. But I still like it, despite its oft-criticised "Miami Vice production values".

My dislike of LTK was noting to do with the Actor. There were ton of problems making LTK including the director. Cubby should have straightened things out before production finished, probably need to start in preproduction.

Good question. All the movies left are Premier League Bond, and I find it tough to deduct points from any of them. I went with Dr No in the end because I think the Bond series hadn't quite hit its stride yet. But it's still a great movie, with memorable (dare I bring up that overused word "iconic"?) introductions for both Connery and Ursula Andress.
