It's personal opinion. Some people here are more respectful of opinions than others. Anyways I'll be able to tell you what I think in a few days..good or bad

I have plans to see the film tonight. I can't remember ever being more indifferent to going to a Bond film. Still, the way this film has divided fans so sharply has piqued my interest a little. There really doesn't seem to be any middle-ground with the film.

'BJ'...........u forgot to mention ONE major point 'QOS' is opening in 600+ less theatres than 'Madagasgcar 2', of course
its not impossible for 'QOS' to reach $63.5mil opening, but a little unlikely. :D
AB :typing:
Which is why Sony moved the opening.

Not a dumb move after Potter was call on the count of rain (the rain being next years weak line up ). Although the fan base for both is completely different.

True that..but as I have said I will see it and report back.....it's like a no-no to say you don't like it(for the most part)at the well-known Bond boards. The majority really does rule there.

There will be no shocks from me when you post your review. I've already read it. 1/10....Worst Bond film ever! Craig sucks big time!!!

1)The NY Magazine gave CR a red star to see it. No such star for TBM. 2) Luke warm to negative reviews for TBM in the NY papers 3) TBM will play 22 times(!) per day in Manhattan theatres vs. 13 for Madagascar. Eon tried to pull another Bourne trick with cramming the viewings per day at $12.50 now per ticket. Higher prices, more viewings, SHOULD equal a higher box office revenue than CR;however, if it doesn't, that spells failure-ino for EON and Craig.

Eh,I ususally go to the first or second showing of the day so it's more like $8.50.Still,it's a lot of money.

The lukewarm reviews Stateside don't surprise me one bit.

I have seen it. I will write a review a bit later: can you guess what I am going to say? I feel a bit sorry for Daniel Craig who must have been a bit miffed when he saw the film (if he has watched it).

2.5 out of 5 stars for the MSN review. They said the film is lacking and called it the Bond Identity. Great work Eon. I might wait a while before i see this.

I waited til today as to not spoil it too badly for the others. The more I think about Quantum them more realize how second hand it all is.

The opening car chase is a Knight Rider romp attempting to pull off a Fast and Furious moment. The danger is never credible. No matter how much he screws up his face as he slams through the gears I couldn't shake the impression it was all shot green screened with stationary car.

The weakest part I would say in the no parachute jump, parachute jump. I've seen it done better in just about any action movie.

The opening credits were a mess living up to it them song it was set too.

A few good stunts but the way it was shot is exasperating.

Yeah,I found the parachute jump a bit unbelievable.I liked the car chase, though.

Parachute jump was stupid. The Plane case didn't make a lot sense.Bad guys with the military in their pocket couldn't afford a rocket launcher?
The car chase was not up to snuff either.Better video game chases.

Why was there an almost rape? There is a weird tone to these movies now and Craig is getting hard and harder to like.

The near rape was establishing that Medrano was a perv(which we knew already).

Oh and I found the idea of the entire police force and millitary being corrupt high unlikely. But it is a movie.Still..
