Very unflattering picture of Tim there.

I was thinking the same exact thing when I went to Best Buy the other day. Say....I have a question for you all. Did they release just the single versions of the Bond Collection or did they release the bulk ones as well? I've been looking for the bulk ones, but no one is selling them...only selling them in singles.

Here in the UK, the Ultimate Editions were in the shops for a short time, and then they disappeared. They are now back in the shops in a buy one get one free offer with no DVD cover and these new awful grey/beige covers in a flimsy cardboard DVD case outer cover.

Are these horrible covers only for the cardboard cases similar to how Layer Cake's cardboard case was different from the original cover inside?

Make the other Bonds look a bit weird on the covers and Craig won't stand out so much.

Looking on amazon.com and I don't see 'em as a set. The old set is still available. The price new is outrageous, the used price is somewhat decent.

James Bond Ultimate Edition - Vol. 1 (The Man with the Golden Gun / Goldfinger / The World Is Not Enough / Diamonds Are Forever / The Living Daylights)
James Bond Ultimate Edition - Vol. 2 (A View to a Kill / Thunderball / Die Another Day / The Spy Who Loved Me / Licence to Kill)
James Bond Ultimate Edition - Vol. 3 (GoldenEye / Live and Let Die / For Your Eyes Only / From Russia With Love / On Her Majesty's Secret Service)
James Bond Ultimate Edition - Vol. 4 (Dr. No / You Only Live Twice / Octopussy / Tomorrow Never Dies / Moonraker)

like the looks ofthe ones that came out in 2006 the best, far as i can tell they are the same dvds just diffrent packing in 2008.

Wow, these new covers are awful. I'm glad I bought most of my DVDs back when the SE's were out, they looked great. These new ones are just bland and formulaic.

The SE cover ar egood, but even I noticed discrepancies with them. For my money the Ultimate editons are great. I like the classic symbolism mixed in with them.
Oh BTW ther are several DVD editions. I have some of the very first bond DVDs form 1997,then in 1999-2000 they re packaged them and upgraded the contents and called them ultimate editions around DAD. Maybe not but i think somewhere on teh back of the case it said "ultimate edition", I'll have to dig mine out to check

I think you can hunt them down on Ebay/Amazon and second-hand DVD stores.
