I never considered the tie in merchandise worth while. Jurassic Park and MIB licensed gear, meh. I think it is cooler when you can buy the item without the tie in advertising motivation, Converse in I Robot, Burger King and Audi in Ironman all to blatant.

The DeLorean in BTTF is probably one of the few examples a car central to the story not being chosen for the lone purpose of getting movie goers to buy it. Now the BTTF Toyota truck on the other hand.....

We had that phone!
Never failed. Eventualy we replaced it but it never broke like the newer phones have. but thats the price you pay when you go for aditional functions like web browser, email, mp3, pictures and video
