John Travolta says Craig is best Bond since Connery

Post by The Sweeney »

I saw him last night being interviewed by Jonathan Ross, and without any prompting, said the new Bond is the best since Connery. He then turned to the audience and asked what they thought, which was a resounding `YESSSS!!!'

To be honest, JT's opinion doesn't exactly have any bearing on mine. The Church of Scientology is a little weird and anyone who follows it, is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I agree with that last bit. It certainly hasn't done Cruise any favours, that's for sure!

TC is certainly out there. There is enough material with Cruise to fill an entire series of the X - Files.

Travolta chimed in, great now its official
Why should anybody care about the opinion of one of the culprits behind wild hogs?

When was the last time a actor talked bad bout another one unless they were getting divorced. ;)
If you want to work in hollywood its a good idea not to bad mouth one of the biggest studios money makers.
Can't say if any actor truly likes or dislikes DC it could be they truly love him, but when was the last actor that said it sucked or the last time one of them bad mouthed the current guy playing bond. PB has a list from here to Road Island saying he was the best Bond since Connery.
For me if a celebrity is chiming in good or bad I take it with a grain of salt. :)

John Travolta says Craig is best Bond since Connery

Case closed then. Time to start destroying the prints of all non Connery/Craig Bond films...[leaves gap for The Sweeney to insert Pierce Brosnan joke]

What, did everyone on this thread suddenly forget the rest of what happened besides Travolta saying he thought Craig was the best since Connery?

Travolta wasn't the only one.

It wasn't just Travolta's opinion, but the crowd went wild when he brought it up. It's just nice to see that a lot of people like Craig and that we're not having a bad case of Lazenby hatred from audiences.

I have a friend who was in the audience that night and he said they were all being held at gunpoint. There were a lot of pensioners there too and they applaud anything. Half of them didn't even know where they were. They thought they were watching Countdown being filmed.

This is an outrage. I'm writing to Points Of View.

His best movies were Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction, IMO.

I agree that most of what he does these days is crap.

Why haven't Cruise and Travolta ever appeared in a movie together? That would be so Sci etc! It would probably be a lotta fun, like Plan 9 From Outer Space.
You move very well for a dead man, Mr Bond
Kill him!

I believe this answers your question Dr.
British actor EDWARD FOX has blasted casting directors on the latest JAMES BOND movie CASINO ROYALE, because he thinks new 007 DANIEL CRAIG is "utterly wrong" for the part
