Who owns the CR dvd?

I've just bought the dvd for £7 (I realise it's expensive) and will watch it again after I've read the book once more so that I can be fair in my review. - Which by the way is coming shortly to a forum near you.

Of course I own the dvd of Casino Royale.
As a Bond fan I have the 1967 version of Casino Royale starring Peter Sellers and David Niven. A terrible film, still a part of Bond. Along with Never Say Never Again, another non Eon film, but as a fan I include it in my collection.
Why shouldn't fans not include Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig?
*Awaits plethora of apparently witty comebacks.*

Of course I own Casino Royale. I think it is a very cheap dvd and sub-par after the UEs, esspecially the 2000 Special Edition DVDs having more features and menu designs. However, the film is great enough that I don't care for the rest.

I don't own the CR 1967 film. Never watched it, never intend to. It's a desperate movie made by desperate producers who wanted to cash in on the spy boom. At least Never Say Never Again had Connery to get your attention.

That does it Skywalker you traitor - you're banned!

Like Captain Nash, I'm a completist, but I find Casino Royale almost unwatchable so can't imagine buying a copy in the near future.

There you go - no "witty comebacks"!

Wow if that's whats going to happen to Skywalker you must have the firing squad for me. Although its not in my best interest to tell you why, I will.

Last night I was totally plastered, you know the Sunday before Palm Sunday calibration. AKA the pre-Palm Sunday party.

This morning as I got ready for work struggling in the post party haziness I was horrified to find "Daniel Craig 4 ever" tattooed on my chest. besides the embarrassment of such a horrible mistake now my wife is jealous because the Craig tat is bigger than the tattoo I got for her. With her angry at me I'm better off in front of the firing line ;)

Remember if you strike Skywalker down, he should become more powerful than you could possibly imagine :D

No Dr No.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Who did it? They deserve the firing line.

I'd say you've got 4 options.

1) Get it removed.
2) Have another tattoo placed over it.
3) Abandon all logical thinking and learn to love Craig.
4) Add NOT to the end of it.

You should just be thankful it wasn't tattoed on your forehead.

Never fear the embarrassing ink will be removed. Going to swing by Goldfinger's and borrow the ol laser. ;) He was a great help when grandpa No needed lasik :) 8)

In seriousness looking forward to your review
I finished watching CR 1967 + the original CR. Not going to buy it or the new CR (or never say never again) they are just bad movies. For us it's not wasting money on dvds we're not going to watch. No higher philosophy behind it. I have my collection of the 20 movies and it good enough for now

I have no intention to buy it. Saw it in november and have no desire to watch it again anytime soon. It just doesn't have the cult appeal, fun and re-watchability of the old films.

 Dear god what do you all have against Father Christmas !!??!! Was it the coal? ;)

I was only trying to infer Captain Nash would be our secret Santa, buying everyone a copy of CR. I thought he would get the joke and be only too happy to make a joke about it. Oh well. :?

This thread has gone from "your banned" to "Santa is dead/aint real"

There seems to be a "Santa incident" on this thread; so DCINB have ordered you to resume talking about the CR (2006) DVD (and complaining about Daniel Craig or course!).

i'd have liked to see the screen tests of all the actors, or at least the finalists, included as a bonus feature. surely, someone was better than Craig.

Which is probably why you didn't see the screen tests....

By the overwhelming success of Craig and CR, both critically and commercially, I wouldn't bet on it!
