Thats was some funny stuff to read. I agree with him about the 15-year-olds liking it. It does appear the young bucks love Daniel Craig...the same for non-traditional Bond fans as well. Most of the die hard Bond fans I know don't like him.

What about the diehard fans on the other Bond websites? Do they not count?

Shhh! Sweeney, you know you're not supposed to wake them up to reality that a lot of longtime Bond fans actually like Craig, that would break their spirit.

I'm noticing the same disconnect. Admittedly, the sample size is much smaller, but the Bond fans I know personally are generally much more hostile to Craig than the ones I know from Internet forums.

You could post here. But not everyone who goes to see Bond films is a hardcore fan who posts on sites like this one or CBN etc. Most are casual fans who are not as emotionally invested in the franchise as we are. Remember, if internet chatter reflected the opinions of the general moviegoing public, Snakes on a Plane would have been a Spiderman/Pirates/Indy-sized blockbuster.
