But seriously, what part of the Craig era was the "narrative integrity and emotional truth?" The foster brother connection between Bond and Blofeld? The passionless romance between the Craig Bond and all his female co-stars? The pointless long lost daughter? Or the useless suicide at the end of N,TTD?

Yes, and let's not ignore the fact that the reason for the Amazon buyout in the first place was her own inaction over Bond. She's like a mother whose kids have been taken into care due to neglect lecturing social services over the need to look after her babies.

Barbara Broccoli’s Eon Productions has lined up its first post-James Bond project, a new version of Shakespeare’s Othello directed by and starring David Oyelowo. The film will shoot in Qatar in autumn 2026. Oyelowo will reprise the title role that he played on stage in New York in 2016, alongside Rachel Brosnahan, reprising the role of Desdemona, and Cynthia Erivo as Emilia. Broccoli also discussed the casting of Daniel Cr-egg as James Bond – the final Eon casting for the role. “When we came to recast the last time, we were going into a new century, so in my head I kept thinking, ‘What does a 21st century hero look like?’,” said Broccoli. “The headline was humanity, so trying to bring that into the series – that’s why casting Daniel Cr-egg was so key. He could really transform the character into someone who has more depth and emotion.”

Calm here..we have 12 people coming for dinner.. I did all of my cooking a few days ago so just have to give directions about when what I’m cooking(a sweet potato casserole) goes in the oven and how long.

Callum Turner, the English actor known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts, The Boys in the Boat, Green Room and more, may be a forerunner to be the next James Bond. According to The Standard, a source from betting company Coral claimed that the 35-year-old has been pushed as a leading contender after his starring role in new romantic A24 comedy Eternity, in which he stars opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller.

"We’ve been knocked over with support for Callum Turner in our next James Bond betting over the last 24 hours," said Coral's John Hill. "The British actor is now the red-hot favourite for the role." NOT in my book!
