"The left" did not try to get Trump locked up, unless you class the entire criminal justice system as "the left". He's a felon who was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers. But because Republicans rely so much on grievance politics, they can paint a criminal getting caught as evidence of persecution (when it's one of theirs, that is). And both of his would-be assassins were registered Republicans.

Doj was politicized and was acting politically. Imagine if hur had prosecuted Biden or if they had released the video of the interview the democrats could have primaried a new candidate.

All of the state charges are so contrived it’s painful to listen to their explanations/ theories of law. All of the nyc cases are/were expected to be reversed by ny high courts . The nyc cases seemed to only have election interference as the goal and not the rule of law. To an outsider the prosecutors down to the judges involved, were crooked. The nyc judges were some of the smuggest and smarmiest I’ve ever seen deliberately allowing trial errors, which would see these cases overturned on appeal, seemingly just to have an immediate effect on the Republican primary, whether to help Trump get nomination or to hurt Trump. I’ve heard it both ways, most of his supporters assume hurt Trump.

GA case is so bonkers it’ll probably fall apart on its own as avenues to win are whittled down. It’s so bonkers, the DA involved actually committed and hid her own (possible) crimes in the course of this.

Leaving trump out of it doj invented interpretations of law, which were later struck down by the Supreme Court, to prosecute J6.
Liz Cheney tampered with witnesses in J6 committee, then deleted the video testimony which was evidence.

Steve Bannon didn’t do anything different from what hunter Biden did far as contempt of Congress, and Brannon actually had a legal reason not to comply which others in similar circumstances were never prosecuted.

Routh is a very weird dude, registered democrat, but a warmonger, given aid, going in and out of our country to raise money, fighters and weapons for the Ukraine, and makes it back to the country in time for second assassination attempt at a time and place details of which were not publicly available. Then , after his arrest somehow his manifesto is released putting basically a Facebook marketplace help wanted ad.
Not to ignore he somehow brings in to the country a weapon that looks like it’s from the Ukraine war. How? It doesn’t go in the overhead.

The other shooter who, that’s the weirdest d**n clown show I’ve ever seen. Secret service was so bad it boggles the mind. Then FBI is, if not purely incompetent, then is deliberately trying to damage the investigation to the point it’s fruitless.

IMHO it’s too easy to dislike Trump or hunter biden and assume the doj and state AGs are only being vigilant and these are bad men.
However under it all is kangaroo courts and crooked prosecutors.
Doj misshandled Hunter’s case in major ways. In the end. I hope hunter does not actually get any jail time. A lot of his bs and damning actions can be laid at the feet of those who allowed it to happen in the first place. Joe Biden and his people have a bigger responsibility that will never be answered.

Jack Smith is/was out of control and possible had no standing to act as special counsel. his re-filing indictments and getting the judge to release his manifesto/ legal brief being unsealed was a blatant violation of DOJ rules.

I’m more libertarian than anything, and it is/was getting bad with federal and state over reach and over prosecution. State over reach into social media censoring.

We might have a president elect Shapiro today, going back further and if 2016 primary was reported accurately keeping the process honest exposing the Clinton machines cheats, president nominee Bernie Sanders.


Honest press We’d have accurate poll reporting, it’s coming out now the reporters were being told privately how bad it was, but never reported or even questioned the accuracy of the polls. Reporters just went along with it.

The press also knew Kamala was never actually ahead but kept up with the narrative of inevitability.

The press never exposed the Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Kamala presidential coup. Democrats never had a chance to find a candidate of their choosing.

Anyway my point being how can democracy function with a press biased to support one wing of one party.
If the press had done their jobs in 2016, 2020, 2023 democracy would have a chance to self correct. This last election the nation was gaslit by the people charged with the duty to expose it. Either for ideological reasons or for monetary reasons, the results were the same.

I think it does demonstrate the politicization of our government, but not necessarily being directed from the top. Sure they Appointed or nominated like minded people to positions of power they shouldn’t have but imo Harris campaign would be better served by FEMA actually doing their job Well, it might actually want them some support.

This is just a tip of the iceberg. The FEMA stories get a whole lot more damning. To the point where it looks like some officials were using FEMA to redirect shipments then sell the supplies themselves. Think Gaza floating pier level of out right theft of humanitarian supplies from the intended recipients

OK, I'll admit it, I was wrong. I saw the headline, and that it came from the Daily Wire, and assumed that it was just another one of their made-up ragebait stories. But since it's been confirmed by multiple reliable sources, it appears to be true. Though it's not FEMA saying this, it was one rogue FEMA official who has since been fired.

I think he will. There is a lot of trash in our food only because major corporation makes more money because of how it’s formulated , from cost, to addictive nature of it. In many ways it’s much worse than what cigarette companies did.

I think the vaccine Bobby might stop mandates, allowing more personal choice. I don’t think he’ll be able to close the door to big Pharma.
Although it bothers me why these guys are exempt from me responsible for the product.

I honestly believe corporate media and social networks negligence is behind people concerns.

The press isn’t meant to amplify hysteria, they are meant to question hysteria.

I truly believe a free press keeps a check on the political system.
It’s in the political systems interest to work up the population to get them to vote, best motivation appears to be fear.
Press ought to call BS on many outlandish rhetoric, claiming the mood of the nation.

But the Corporate press/media make more money creating sensationalist content, meanwhile, all the people running these corporations are not concerned or the overall structures stability of the nation. But the reporting will never reflect it.
