I've had an amazing Christmas..got a Dyson vaccum, a new camera(I usually use my iPhone camera but it has its limitations..my old camera, a Casio is coming to the end of its natural life), gift cards(Panera and Starbucks),perfume, clothes,(lots of clothes) and a few books among other things.

Holiday/Christmas Thread 2015
Everyone in my family went to the new Star Wars. First time we ever went to the movies on Christmas.
Getting my dad to go was the hard part but it is one of those movies you'll remember who you were with when you saw it.

um I don't know what to say without giving away too much. What happen IMO is exactly what Harrison ford wanted to happen.bjmdds wrote:I have not seen SW yetSpoiler

Much of what this movie is about is literally undoing what the prequels established. From stormtroopers to the center of the government.
Solo is doing what you'd expect solo to be doing. Stuff about the falcon I'm mixed about but it's a plot device to get solo and the new characters together.
It's not perfect but it's closer the the original movies than not.

Harrison ford disagrees is all. I'd rather something else had happened but it is what it is and I can't wait for the sequelbjmdds wrote:Solo IS SW andSpoiler

Re: Holiday/Christmas Thread 2015
I hesitate to bring this up in the holiday thread however what former George Lucas partner Gary Kurtz said about the original Return of the Jedi story was before George rewrote it into a teddy bear picnic was essentially what Episode 7 was.Omega wrote:Harrison ford disagrees is all.
