James Bond has been booming in the world of comics for a while now, and I dare say they're likable.
I read Hammerhead. Didn't like the first issue, as it felt too different from either the literary or the movie Bond. But it grew on me after that.
I’ve bought a few of digital copies but haven’t read them yet, font remember which titles I bought. I hear good things from other bond fans about the new comics I remember there being excitement about the new series
Favorite Bond Movie: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies.

Oh I did love it very much, really. So far, it's the best installment in the Dynamite-run Bond comics. At least, in my opinion. Didn't feel different to me, though. I thought it had a lot of resemblance to the Brosnan era Bond (even Bond's likeness, so to speak) and his films. I remember reading the first issue, that mercenary overshadowing Bond at the end of the issue, it felt a lot like a Dark Horse era Bond comic, like Serpent's Tooth, for instance.
I had a look on the britishhorrorfilms forum about this and they said it was an Indian set film. So Hammer planned an Indian set Dracula in the same way they had a Chinese set one?

11th place is great?
For only 373 theatres when Clooney's trash earned only $1 million more with over 2,000 theatres? Yes it is and it will now EXPAND to more theatres next weekend.

Apparently so, though with less obvious motivation. Kung fu movies were big at the time Seven Golden Vampires was made, so you can see the logic behind Hammer teaming up with Shaw Brothers. Bollywood films wouldn’t become popular in Britain for another 25 years, though, so I assume this was purely a story decision, rather than a commercial one.

In the early 1960s Bond was so big that 2 tv comedies parodied it. The Beverly Hillbillies has several episodes of Jethro trying to be double naught 7 and Mr. Ed had a few episodes where he was oat oat 7. I watched these episodes recently on the numerous nostalgic tv channels that are popular like Metv and THIS tv channels.

Eon Productions are set to produce a rival spy film to their 007 series, based on a novel by Mark Burnell, entitled The Rhythm Section, first in a book series centered on a character named Stephanie Patrick. Paramount is set to distribute the film with Reed Romano directing, starring Blake Lively as the lead character, with production and filming expected to commence in the next few months. It's set for release on 22 February 2019, nine months before Craig's fifth (and hopefully final) outing as Bond arrives in theatres.

They seem interested more in proving themselves to be genuine film producers more than Bond producers. Mike is just snoring in his seat, dragged into every meeting by Babs who’s pulling Mike’s arm while the latter is sleepwalking. Babs strikes the deal, and puts Mike’s name next to hers. “Wait, whats’at? Did I agree to that?” Mike wakes up in the middle of a meeting, then falls back to sleep. There, Eon Productions “can produce” a non-Bond film.

I'm all for it, it's what I've been saying for awhile now. Start a new series where she can pour all her "girl power" and other SJW claptrap in to it and get Bond back to normal. Now the quandary is when this tanks will Babz finally learn that audiences don't care for this sort of "entertainment" or will she go right back to this path she's been on lately shoehorning familial drama on to a neutered character, because she can't survive without her father's coattails to ride.

Gal Gadot was a perfect casting as Wonder Woman. Blake Lively is all fluff and will bomb in this role. -----EON, aka Barbara Broccoli, aka the green vegetable, is obviously a clueless dolt in casting leads.

Oh I think the SJW crap isn't over by a wide margin. Get prepared for some uber-feminist SJW Leftwing Bond movie. Annapurna struck a deal with MGM and will co-finance Bond 25. With Babs and Megan Ellison holding hands together, as well as "Trump/Sovereignty/Nationalism"-hating writers on board, we're getting the disaster Bond film we've been waiting for.

More terrorism in NYC My friend's brother lives 4 blocks from where this occurred. I have been in that area once in a while but not too often. The NYC Mayor DeBlasio and his police commissioner won't state the terrorist name, which we already know from news outlets, which is Sayfullo Saipov, an immigrant who came to the US in 2010. He was in a pickup truck and killed eight people and injured 11 more when he drove onto the West Side bike path in lower Manhattan Tuesday afternoon — and then shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he got out of the car with fake guns, police sources said. A face only Satan could love

Blake Lively is an attractive woman and I find her to be charming in some of her roles (Café Society,The age of Adeline) but I really don't see her pulling off a role of a spy.
