If Cubby is still around, would the titles of Pierce's Bonds after GoldenEye be a lot different?

Yes, well maybe... I know the films would have been different and Pierce would have been give more control. And cubby certainly wouldn't have given him the boot like his kids did. Cubby once he found something that worked liked to stick to it.

The titles I think would have dug more in to Fleming's past like GoldenEye did. the World is not Enough is a good example
Tomorrow never dies, and Die another day sound like they came from a day planner they saw sitting on their desk.:?

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Pierce's Bond tenure would have been longer as well.

I think cubby would have made better moves and casting decisions. He watched the series almost implode twice and he learned how to read public attitudes and opinion. After Dalton's last movies and the frachise was virtually dead Cubby got rid of his step son Wilson who was given credit screwing up the stories , and he hasn't touched a Bodn story since. well until Bond 22 that is, base on an original Idea by him.

So it was Cubby's stepson who ruined Dalton's era.

On eof the reviews about LTK said Cubby's nepotism ruined Bond stories. his writing credits include
1. Licence to Kill (1989) (written by)
2. The Living Daylights (1987) (screenplay)
3. A View to a Kill (1985) (screenplay)
4. Octopussy (1983) (screen story) (screenplay)
5. For Your Eyes Only (1981) (screenplay)

This guy and Barbara too, wouldn't have a job in movies if it wasn't for their daddy.

If Pierce did CR back in 2004, there wouldn't any bashings on him, but thanks BB's decision of firing Pierce and hiring DC, evil has been brought to the world of Bond that caused fans to do the Pierce bashing.

Didn't Pierce wanted to do a gritty Bond ever since before he did GE? I know he wanted that himself.
