Maybe.I still wanna know is she is MP or not.katied wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if her character gets killed off in Spyfail.
Whilst we won't know for sure until the film comes out, I'd say it's about 90% certain that she isn't. The "Eve becomes Moneypenny" thing is just internet speculation as far as I can tell, nothing in any official statement seems to support it and Harris herself has denied it. She could be lying in order to disguise a plot twist, but I'd say the weight of evidence is such that, at the moment, the burden of proof falls on those who argue that she is Moneypenny.oscartheman wrote:Maybe.I still wanna know is she is MP or not.katied wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if her character gets killed off in Spyfail.
It rather depends on your level of trust in EON. I think most of us wonder whether they're even capable of thinking creatively, and fear that the result will just be a bargain-basement Bond. The Sweeney wrote:Am I the only person who sees this budget cut as a positive thing?
If EON cannot rely on OTT locations and crappy CGI, they are going to have to think more creatively, in terms of story, etc. to keep the viewer interested.
You know I would be the first to cheer a reasonable downsized budget, if this is what is happening here. EoN has talked out of Both sides of their mouth on this MGW said the budget is the same for SF as QOS, for 3 to 4 months everyone else has said locations are being gutted because the money is not there. It is different when a £3 million GBP production like the The Sweeny turns to the yobbos at Top Gear for the road stunt, 007 is a billion dollar franchise and EON is a major Hollywood production co. looking like amateurs who are despertly cutting back at the very last moment which alone is concerning. The Sweeney wrote:Am I the only person who sees this budget cut as a positive thing?

I actually think is far better news than EON boldly stating `we are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this one....more money than sense', etc.
They have a track record of messing things up when money is no object - DAD and QoS.
It can work so far when they (EON) turn to CGI and other editing gimmicks in the (recent) past it has always come out halfarsed. CR was nitpicked quicker than QOS and DAD for the errors in editing and mistakes on screen.katied wrote:I kind of see where Sweeney's coming from on this..On the other hand...they are substituting a British beach for someplace else?chintzing just a little, methinks.
Most of us lost our faith in the franchise in 2005, those here who believed EON's promises Bond was not changing lost what little trust was left November 2006.Kristatos wrote:It rather depends on your level of trust in EON. Casino R budget fell far on the cheap side. The Casino in Montenegro was too cheaply done.Capt. Sir Dominic Flandry wrote:Seems strange that Eon had success with the cheapo thriller CR (although they spent $600 million promoting Craig's mug) and then spent a fortune on QOS.
