Bond's american friend

Post by Moore »

Quite long time ago, after watching DAD again, my mind crossed an interesting idea: After LTK, Bond haven't actually had any friend in American secret service. And now, in DAD appears Jinx, and seems to have very good relationship with James. Could she replace Felix in next movies? Of course I don't mean "CR saga", which is going to be filmed in direct future, but films action of which will be put after events from DAD. I think it would be very interesting, and how about you?

If you're suggesting that Halle Berry return in the role of Jinx then I don't like your idea. Infact I don't like your idea period.
If Bond needs an 'American friend' then I think Felix Leiter fits the bill.
Jinx was a terrible character, from a terrible Bond film, who appears to be terribly popular with a select few. Ms Berry is a very attractive woman...with little or no acting skills.

Do you suggest that 'Oscars' usually goes to people who can't act? Interesting point of view

Oscars don't prove that people can act...or are talented film makers.

There was Jack Wade. but he didn't count for much :?
Jinx almost got her own series (still might).
She wouldn't have been bad, I think they would need to polish her character up a little. But Halle Berry or who ever her curvaceous replacement might be could a good addition to the Bond movies as an American friend, with better connections than the CIA ;)

But they are acknowledged as the most prestigious and critically acclaimed awards in the movie industry.
“I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that and scaring the s--- out of me,” Bond Hardman Daniel Craig.
